Northern Light Autoflower

Good Morning growmies,
I thought I’d try an auto grow outside this time of the yr here. At least the heat and humidity has lightened up finally. This is first time for an auto for me. Just curious to see how it does with the shortest day coming in a month. I germinated it in water and popped in a couple of days. First time trying an air pot and using Black Gold potting mix. It broke ground in 2 days and seems to be doing good so far. Not sure if I should add any amendments along the way since I heard autos can be a little sensitive. Today is 3 weeks and I’ll show the weekly progress along the way. Alrighty then, Wish me luck.

Day 27 and already showing pistils a couple of days ago.

Looks like it’s goin to be a small fry. Quit pathetic actually. Maybe get a few joints from it.

Don’t underestimate her. I had one NL auto start flowering at 21 days and she grew quite large beyond what I expected. Autos will fool ya with the early pistils.

Well that’s good to hear @Spiney_norman . Being this is my first time with an auto and growing it outside this time of the year I really had no idea what to expect. Thanks for the vote of confidence. :+1: I’ll post a pic weekly of it.

Mixed up a little soil with some bone meal and Langbeinite and top dressed then gave her a good soaking with compost tea. Just experimenting to see if that does anything.

Have a good one growmies :sunglasses:

16 days into flower for this NL and she’s lookin good so far. I have a few leaf minors that have moved in but not bad yet. I snipped off the leaves that had them and if they persist I’ll give them a spray with some white oil, little MOFoes…

How do you like those pots?

Well @sdoyle I can’t really comment on them yet. It’s the first time I used them. I like the concept. I asked @kaptain3d about them since he’s used them and said he likes them. I thought since painting the outside white and with the air holes seems like a good idea being in Fl with the strong sun. With the black pots here in the summer you would not believe how hot the soil gets inside. So I think I’m going to like them and they should do much better than the regular black pots. I’ll see how they do in the summer. :sunglasses: :sun_with_face:
