No flowers yet, doing something wrong?

I’m 41 days in, nearly 6 weeks and no flowers yet. OG Kush auto, coco perlite 5 gallon pots, fox farm nutrients, sf1000 lights. They are healthy and thriving, am i impatient or doing something wrong?

What is light schedule?

Autos are unpredictable. Sometimes they can take several weeks to flower. It may even be necessary to flip the light schedule to 12/12 and treat them like photos.

Agreed. :+1:

There have been many reports of autos failing to flower as expected. It could be human error in sorting or shipping and photoperiod seeds were sent or it could be that the Ruderalis genes are not expressing themselves as expected. Sometimes they will flower under less than 12 hrs darkness eventually but the best thing to do if you are running out of room (or patience) is to flip to 12/12 for the rest of the grow. If it is a true auto then it won’t affect it much either way. If it is accidental photo, it should flower within about 2 weeks from the flip.

I have shortened the time by 15 minutes twice, think i’ll continue til i get to 12. Lol turn on the ac make them think they better hurry

Turning on ac isn’t going to do anything positive for your plants unless your canopy temps are too high. If they didn’t transition by moving from 24 hours to 18 hours moving 15 minutes at a time isn’t going to help until you get to another reasonable deduction in lights on time. If you want them to flower I would drop to 12/12 and make sure lights off is uninterrupted like HMGRWN said.

Just kidding about ac, mimicing fall cooler temps, i’ll drop them to 12 hours and cross my fingers. This is my first grow, haven’t had a dobie since christmas and really wanting these babies to hop to it!

If you drop to 12 hours and make sure dark time is dark they will flower. They may have already started to transition from your earlier adjustments too. But if you want to be sure then just go to 12/12.

Realized I have run 24 lights for over a week, accidentally left them on instead of automatic 18 hrs, so they went 24 4 weeks, 18 a few days, 24 1 week, now 12 hrs. They were starting Pistils at week 4, yet burning up, hope they aren’t too confused, think I see the start of some nice buds. Started with Tiger bloom 3 days ago and crossing my fingers

62 dli?? That’s too much from what I’ve been told? But your plants look great! I was at 55 in my tent and they were burning up, was told to turn down to 44-48 and they finished awesome!

The highest number I see on a dli chart is 55 and that’s for only 1week lol✌️

My plants are at 980PPFD/65DLI right now with no issues. I think many things need to be considered when we talk about lighting, such as current temp/humidity distance of lights etc…
Looking at your temperature 85F is hotter than I would want my plants to get. I try to keep my plants within a 10-15 degree temp swing usually 69-79. I don’t know about cannabis but I would assume as with many plants they will start to go dormant at certain high temps which could cause slow growth. I would try to get my temps down and see if that helps. Being in Tejas I run my lights off during the hottest part of the day so my full light schedule is at night when temps are cooler and my wife runs the a/c at 66*. Try switching your light schedule and see if that helps. Overall they look healthy and I don’t see any signs of heat stress which is usually the leaf edges curling upward. Be patient because autos really just do what “they” want. My last grow had an average finish time of 80 days, the plant went to 101 days.

Thank you for the feedback, cant believe i didnt hit that switch! Raised the light again, they grow so fast. Will start leaving ac on daytime to cool it down and see if that helps. I began adding tiger bloom since i saw pistils, maybe that will help too

In my case I would consider that a brain fart Growmies isn’t it amazing how quickly things start getting lined up once the corrections are made.

Thank you for your kind words, as of late, i am becoming downright windy!
They do seem to becoming happy girls again, really would love to see a bud forming! Believe me as soon as it happens, there will be photos, maybe even a happy dance!
