No edibles for me, is vaping an option?

Educate yourself …dry vapes are the way to go the carts are full of shit you don’t want in your body

Thank you, so you don’t think PEG is necessary?

I’ve been using NIC vapes for over 10 years. Will just the standard PG actually dissolve and carry it? I’ve read a partial decarb can help if it doesn’t. Do you do a partial decarb at all?

Definitely not with BHO from my experience. I’ve used nothing but PG for a long time and just recently started adding the VG.

The PG smoked fine i thought :man_shrugging: but lots of people teased me because they didn’t make big clouds and could cough you to death if not careful

So I started adding the VG to smooth it out and give a biger cloud.

It lowered the overall potency, but it made the experience more “palatable”.

Not intentionally i don’t.
I say that because there is the short burst of time in the microwave in mixing the juice.

But it’s in such short burts, idk if much or any decarboxylation is taking place :man_shrugging:.

Yes it bonds great with BHO, it’s the VG that sometimes takes alot of reheating and mixing to get it into the PG/bho mix.

I’ve never got VG to bond adding all together at once or without the PG.

I messed alot up experimenting roughly 15 years ago before there was much information online.
And there’s probably better information online today then my ways.

Yeah, I say the same things. I’ll take stories of hands on experiences any day. Thanks for the help.

VG does help a ton, even in small amounts In vape juices (nicotine). the PG carries all the flavor while VG thickens/mutes it. And brings the “satisfying cloud” of exhale. Seeing that cloud, might make a person feel like they got a good deal subconsciously.

Me personally anything straight PG- is like inhaling pepper spray to me. 10-20% VG is like a must for me to handle it. Not to whine about it, but I do like breathing afterwards.

Glad to hear it works, I’ll start researching some more about bho.

i just liked the idea of squishing it out and being done with it. Dissolve in PG after a light decarb. Seems like the most natural way to do it, except the PG/PEG that dissolves the oils.

I get what you mean about the VG and PG balance. PG carries flavour well but can feel harsh, while adding a bit of VG smooths the inhale and improves the overall experience. I also like experimenting with DIY flavours and ratios, so finding the right mix has been part of the process for me, sometimes I check places like https://ecigone.co.uk/ to see different liquid profiles and get ideas.

I’ve also tried dissolving concentrates in PG after decarbing, and it does work with a bit of patience to get the consistency right. Overall, a little experimentation with ratios and methods really helps dial in what feels best.
