Dj351, I have been using Coco Bliss that I have been getting from Amazon. I have even tried the FoxFarm Ocean potting soil but found no difference.
I recently bought and used a bloom nutrient with a NPK of 0-54-34 and got good results in stickiness and awesome smell when you pinched the buds. But I still do not get that aroma release from my flowering plants.
Again, I have an indoor grow tent 32" x 60" x 80" and am using a MarsHydro SP6500 which covers 36" X 60" X 80". And of course I have proper ventilation and fans running to keep the temp between 72°F-83°F.
I live in Hawaii so average temperatures run between those.
When looking at the trichomes with a jewelers magnifying glass, they are so full of trichomes and healthy looking.
I have all my boxes checked except for the awesome aroma of flowering plants. I grew outdoors back in the 80’s and without any knowledge of what I know now, basically I just watered my plants and they always were sticky and smelled awesome.
I hope this was of some help in you finding the problem of why my flowering plants do not release that beautiful smell that the strains are known for.

I’ve read somewhere on here that you can add Epson salt to bring out the smell in cannabis flowers. Something about the sulfur and magnesium helps it
