Girls are looking good so far id recommend setting the clear cups into a darker colored cups roots dont like light it can also promote algae i typically use red solo cups and set the clear cups inside the red cups so that you can still monitor root development

I personally like to allow my young seedling to
establish a healthy solid root structure before i transplant so then when i transplant they dont endure as much shock i usually leave my seedling in solo cups till they get about 4 nodes high but everyone is a bit different

@Toffnkbl, Looking good so far!

I agree with @LiesGrows, it’s a little early yet to transplant. Your roots will extend out about as far as the tips of your leaves. So if you wait until they reach the edge of the cup, you’ll have no worries about the root ball crumbling on you when you pop it out of the solo.

I also agree about stacking them inside an opaque cup or something dark. Your roots may avoid getting close to the sides of the cup because they’ll detect the light and think they’re going the wrong way.

What u think?

Can u read my soil recipe and tell me what u think

Yeah man, sounds about right. The subcool recipe (a high times classic) calls for the super soil to go on the bottom, with a “core” of regular potting mix. His recipe has you “cooking” the super soil for a couple weeks prior to use. Mix it up now, water it in, that will give you like a week in the oven at least. Add some live red worms to it too, would be my other suggestion. You won’t be disappointed.

What you planning to use for water? @Toffnkbl

How many red worms and what do u mean by water it in?

I am very new at this pleass try and be very specific.and thx

And what do mean by cooking it i dont understand?

Is my soil mix correct?should i use both of the ff? Or just one or the other or shouod i layer it?

U want me to put soil under light and keep it moist?
