Newbie Here..Need Assistance

I think I would start with the light at 50 percent

That’s where I’m at. I was on about 20% and getting no growth,(probably laying down roots) but I took it outside for some free sunshine and I noticed that the tiny leaves started reaching up.

I decided that meant it was craving more light so I jumped up to 50%

Still no significant growth but leaves are still reaching upwards so I’m thinking it was wanting more light

I’m hesitant to go up any more than that as I don’t want to fry the little baby

Ok i scrapped my old seeds and am starting over. I soaked in water 24 hours and now I have them germinating in paper towel inside of a ziplock back. So far 3/5 have sprouted. Can I still place the other two seeds into dirt even though they have not sprouted or should I keep them in the ziplock bags for a couple more days?..I have attached a pic of the two Girl Scout Cookies i put into the dirt under my tsw2000 at about 35 on the dimmer… Not sure if i should do 24/0 or 18/6 lighting at this point. Increase the lightning more? What do you guys think?

They look happy and should make some nice buds. I’d suggest you start them babies out slowly. They need the darkness to grow root. Letting them dry a between watering will induce roots to search deep into the container will payoff during flowering when they will be using lots of water. Healthy roots means nice buds. So set your lights to 16 hours light and 8 hours dark for the first 2 weeks.
If you can add some root supplements that inoculate and provide beneficial bacteria will also help keep your plants healthy throughout your grow.

I would go ahead and plant those seeds that did not open, just as much chance or better that they will open in the soil than paper towel. I skip the whole pre-soak and paper towel and just plant seeds directly in pre-moistened soil or coco in my case, then I leave them alone and they usually sprout in 4-5 days.

We all have different ways to do things, I always start off my seedlings on 24 hour light for for first week to 10 days - keeps the temps nice and warm and stable to get them off to a good start and then I go 18/6 until flowering.

My seedlings always look like this 7 days above ground using my methods. Fast growth from the beginning.
