Im actually the opposite. My current 4x8 is my first full photo grow. Before that, i only grew autos.

So… new toys come, apparently, with new unforseen complications… got home from work and my flower tent was at a whoping 95°! Got the vent set up in the window, dimmed the lights a tad (still haven’t dialed in my DLI) and am getting ready to set up another portable AC unit.
This is before the mitigations…

Dropped in for an update…
Flower tent showing a slight difference. They seem to like the new light. Early signs of stretching starting to show.
And my 4x8 SOG is still going mostly smooth. Had a hicough 2 days ago. Installed a small 4" inline fan to the outside of the tent and didn’t realize the duct was pointing directly at ‘Smurfholly’, one of my Blue Dream.
She wilted quite a bit but im hoping she will recover after her next good meal.
Here’s the tent starting to fatten up for thier last few weeks.

So, i pulled the perverbial trigger on 10+10 LSD Feminized seeds. Its one of the strains (in addition to Strawberry Cough and a few others) I’ve been waiting on to go on sale. When I finish this current Blue Dream in my 4x8, I already planned on California Dream. However, after that, I think I’ll do a run of LSD, instead of Northern Lights. Any advice from any of you experts, in any of those strains, would be most appreciated

The LSD plants are an easy grow, they aren’t especially fussy. Mine were autos and were shorties (20 inches or so, 2 oz per plant). I believe the photos get much larger. Mine were both beauties.
The fragrance is sweet though one of mine did go through a skunk phase while growing. It’s pretty potent smoke. The buds tend to form somewhat “open”, but did tighten up upon curing.

Thanks @Fiz . They were beauties indeed. I read both of your journals and you did a fantastic job. The ones i purchased are photos though and not autos… 
should be similar though im assuming.

I would imagine other than size, they should be pretty similar. I would have loved to see L & C at four feet tall.

Girls in the Flower tent got a haircut last night and a good meal. This is thier first dose Big Bud and Bud Candy. Still a lot more defoliation but my upper limit on any sitting on any plant is 200… so i stopped to let them recover and enjoy the buffet.
Blue Dream tent still going well (with the exception of Smurfholly, she’s still mad)
Smurfholly. Any advice on helping her recovery will be much appreciated
Big tent should be ready for a meal tonight.

Awesome! Im not scared to heavily defoliate myself. Both @Hellraiser and @Low drllled that into me. Both say, we arent trying to grow leaves. True.

No sir. In my 4x8 is 8 Blue Dream and 2 Northern Lights. In my 4x4 flowering tent is 3 Skywalker OG and 1Northern Light. And in my 4x4 veg tent is 4 Northern Lights and 2 Godfather OG (that i got from you) sadly, the SLH didn’t make it…

Thank you. Are you keeping a clone mother? I’d be glad to take them. Ive never grown that strain, but, alas, i currently have no room. I should be able to fit 1 (possibly 2) in about 7 weeks…?

I have 4 from seed in my 5x5 flowering now. When I topped them I gave them away at CannaCon (not quite established roots system yet though). These current clones are cuttings I took the day I flipped the lights. I figured why not do it again? They look to be showing new growth now.
