Well it took me this long to figure out one plant was getting way to much water. 3 of them stuck water up or it drains to the bottom but the soil always dries out in 2 days (all looked dry and cracked so I watered with a quart of water).
Well that little plant in the last 4 days has lifted it leaves and has sprouted up and is catching up. Not sure what the buds will be like. On a few pistiles on each bud, but the trichromes are filling up and are plentiful.
Good lesson to know going forward. I’m setting up for the next round I have 2 good clones I’m prepping to go in the tent next.
Looks to be about 15%-20% amber trictrichrtrichromes.
One thing I learned was the tent floor needs to be better. I insulated the floor but stepping on it and the spills and all are ruining it so I bought some cedar to create a floor kinda like a sauna floor. Raise it 2 inches with slates, tents 4x4 so I’m making a tile set up each one is 2x2 (just under to fit) then I’ll put the insulation in the under the middle of each. Stable floor let’s it drain. Cedar won’t rot, and in the summer it should allow air flow all the way around I hope.
So I have confirmed that all are showing seeds, they all hermied. The seeds are still green, no indication of color shift which means they still have time to go, of course I’m looking at the pistiles and trichromes to tell when there ready. It nice to have a second way (sucks but) to quickly tell. The buds are filling out and the trichromes are filling up. About 50% have a dark line coming up the center, not to the bulb yet.l
@PurpNGold74 I tried taking a pic through my loop. I think this is 30x. What do you think? It looks like the pistiles are around 50% and the trichromes maybe 30%. I’m thinking of flushing them this week, estimate about another week left before there done.

Quick question, all the signs are there for harvesting in a weekish. But one is popping these little “cup” out, is this one done and should I pull her and wait on the others? Just wondering because sugar leaf tip are turning yellow on all of them plus the hairs have started receding. The only other is 60-70% of trichromes are frosty, maybe a little less on the 3 others.
@MattyBear@dbrn32, thanks guys there were so many tha I’ve been plucking since I got your message. I’ve only got half done when looked at the other 2 plants they popped too. They are right there on being done so I’m going to harvest. This was mostly an experiment with these seeds before I go and shell out cash for good seeds. Now that I can keep the tent stable and I know what not to do I can move on to the clones and see how they go. By this summer I’ll be comfortable with soil, between now and then I will work on hydro set.
I still have 2 clones in soil that I’m dropping in the tent with new pots and soil.
Dirt Pot with Happy Frog soil, way more room with them.
I did sprout a seed so I will have 2 in this round and 1 that ill use when I take clones from these. With those ill try hydro, and this way im not taking a chance with my Fem Seeds I ordered. I hope by May to have both ways of growing dialed for a prize crop (just better than what I have).
I’m cautious of trying any yet, with it going hermy, other than potency (thc) anything I should know for when I do try some.
I waiting because the last thing I can deal with are anymore head issues. Did the first of many burps of the jars and the smell is nice, typical nyc diesel smell of course not real strong yet.
