I used rock wool. They are inexpensive and you can get them on amazon. I have read where some sit in the clay.

Itās all a learning curve. Make notes as you go. This is a wonderful community and they know their stuff.
I was just going to ask if something better than they clay ballls. They definitely donāt want to stay in place as they sprout on up.

Iām definitely going to use rock wool for them to start. Donāt want them to wash into the bucket and I will be like wtf happened

thank you I turned water down so not spraying all over them. Will definitely keep lower for a few days. Itās just a simple bucket setup from spider farmer.
