No kid projects here. Use what you got and be proud of your homemade ideas, might give someone else an ah ha moment to solve a problem. Save money where you can and as long as it gets you that great big beautiful high at the end it makes no difference what it grew up in.

These are my girls. Do they look ok? Am I doing anything wrong?

If you are thinking about going bigger, you may want to get a water chiller, they have some on Amazon I was looking at one for my setup. Then it turns to RDWC.

They look good to me, here is day 3 of mine.

What do you think about all mine.

Started from Taproot on Monday and sprouted Tuesday

I love it!!

I put mine straight in the bucket from taproot. I was so scared that it wouldn’t make it.

Straight in the clay pebbles?

I’ve not done that yet, I’ve been doing it my own personal way by adding a small layer of dirt, something I do to make sure no light leak threw the basket, and something for the sprout to hold steady. Not really needed but something I do lol

rockwool and then into the pebbles, then add pebbles as it grows.

Yes, after I get the tap root, I put it in the rockwool and in to the pebbles. I had seen someone on YouTube do it. This was a little bit after the tap root, but the start of my process. I will probably wait longer next time.

Plugged the holes on top and drilled on sides. Made it so much easier. Thank you so much!! Any recommendations on water chillers?

This is the one Ive been looking at.

Without the chiller I couldn’t keep temps low enough I had to swap back to soil. Ugh grrer.

I’m new at hydroponics. Starting some autos and will be using spider farms hydroponic setup. Question is how to set seeds after they get tails do I just situate in the clay balls and support with them and let it go or is there something else I need to do ?

And when do I need to add nutrients

If I’m growing from seed I put them in small rockwool cubes when they pop tails.

I start feeding as soon as true leaves start to show :green_heart::sign_of_the_horns:t2:

I put them in since had tails popped long enough. Situated them between the clay balls for support. Basically water for now is all I have done don’t want to burn them
