New to indoor and auto flower and can’t seem to get past seedling stage. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

What are your watering practices for seedlings? Also what kind of growing setup are you working with? Light? Growing medium? What kind of container you starting the plants in?

I built a closet from 2×4s and drywall. Approximately 2and a half by 2 and a half by4 ft tall. Wrapped with aluminum foil. Not sure how to post pics or I would. 5 gl bucket and coco chor mix and seed starting potting mix with organic nutes added. I make my own nutes as I used to in outdoor grow. I started out with a distilled water wit a splash of hydrogen peroxide in it to germinate and kept that going with about an inch circle around the seedling. Very little daily. I have recently experienced issues with temps below 70 degrees when starting seedlings.

I really don’t know the light I have puts off a decent amount of heat we have a fan in the grow room as well but house stays roughly 65 degrees so I would think it’s would be around 70s or more

I don’t see anything glaringly obvious that causing you problems. With seedlings it’s a watering issue a lot of the time. Have you tried using a dome on your seedlings? A lot of us keep a clear plastic cup over them for a week or so. No watering, just mist the inside of the cup occasionally. Also, I suggest you get a thermometer/hygrometer combo for your grow area. Temperature and RH are two very important things to know.
Since you’re growing in coco I’d strongly recommend you spend some time reading on the cocoforcannabis website. I’ve varied from Dr. Coco’s methods a bit, but starting out if you stick to his methods you’ll have a successful grow. There’s are articles that cover every aspect of growing in coco on the website.

Hey there and welcome!
First, make sure that your coco coir and potting mix are thoroughly mixed together and that they are properly hydrated. Your plants need a good balance of air and water, so if your mix is too dry or too wet, it could be affecting their growth.
Second, check the pH of your water and nutrient solution. Autoflowers are sensitive to pH fluctuations, so make sure that your water is around 6.0-6.5 pH and your nutrient solution is around 5.5-6.0 pH.
Third, make sure that your light is not too close or too far away from your plants. The Spider Farmer SF 1000 is a great light, but it can be too intense for seedlings if it’s too close. Try keeping it around 18-24 inches away from your plants.

going to need a digital meter that reads temps ans humidity, so you know what the environment of the grow area is. seedlings need high humidity
