New member, new grow, new to autoflower seeds

I’ve used nothing in this grow besides the AN Sensi Coco Grow, Bloom, and Big Bud so far and the plants couldn’t be happier so I’m not messing with anything else presently (first grow in Autopots). Using RO with that line I haven’t even needed to touch a PH or PPM meter this grow (yet).

The wavemaker is really more about keeping movement and nutes well mixed. I don’t see much need to further oxygenate the res water, particularly running the fabric pots.

Link to my current grow if interested.

Happy to help in any way I can, feel free to jump in there or tag me here. Just set to watching as well.

My 1st grow in Auto-pots too, but.
A couple of decades ago I had an auto watering device for my Phototron.
It was more complicated and prone to failure, but when it worked growth rate doubled.
I get the concept of giving the plant just the amount of water it wants to use when it wants it.
These new Auto-pot devices are easier to use and clean.
I just started using Fishshit in my reservoir.

The outdoor WWAs are definitely more stinky and likely fully seeded.
I took a few lower buds, for more testing.
The trichomes have a good flavor and expand your lungs a lot.

Something got at the top bud, I saw snails on the plant a few times.
The indoor buds are going to turn out better than outdoor, is my guess. :+1: :sunglasses:

Like they are full of seeds?

I took 2 longer larfy buds from here:

Last time I took a smaller bud from lower down and got 2 developed seeds and 1 premie.
So this time I took the next 2 higher larfy buds that I wonder how many seeds I’ll get from them?

Then I took a bud from here:

This one is less larfy and is the 1st bud I’ve taken from this smaller one.
The buds look far different from the indoor one.
The outdoor ones look like they have seed pods in their buds.
Don’t these buds look like they got seeds to you?
In a couple of days, I’ll check these samples for more seeds.

My old eyes do see some fat calyxes that usually means seeds. :eyes:
Would be interested to find out what they produce.

Yes, now I will have a supply of unknown WWA hermie seeds or some unknowable cross breeds.
These were good WW genetics, so even if some local no THC hemp pollen got it.
It should produce a wide range of phenotypes to play with.

Sorry about that, I forgot about this lol.

Slowly though. It’s tough at this time not to jump the gun.
I’m thinking it will go 10+ weeks in flower, so after 13 Oct
12 weeks??? 27 Oct
Hopefully the SSH girls will enter flower next week.

These indoor WWA buds still have lots of almost maggot looking white hairs still to turn.
Hopefully they’ll continue to plump up and turn those maggot white hairs into a frosty coating.
These will get there eventually, but it is hard to see much change without daily pics.
They got their midday 30 min blackout just for their flash pics. Not during night hours.
Looking forward to seeing if the SSH girls are the frosty type.

The tent has been on 12/12 for a few days now.
No hairs sprouted on the SSH photos just yet.
I’m on the lookout for them. Should be found soon. :+1: :sunglasses:

The circled area has my attention looking for those hairs to start.
This plant is showing its silver frosty side on these leaves already. :+1:

Buds from all 3 of my WWA plants. 1 indoors 2 outdoors:

1 indoor 2 outdoor #1 3 outdoor #2
only 1 more seed found in 2 larger larfy buds from plant 3

No seeds found in plant 2’s bud. So maybe I just get a few hermie seeds from the outdoors plants.
Indoor bud looks far different and needs more time to develop trichomes.

I am hoping to see the 1st white hairs on the SSH girls tomorrow.
Let me know when some of you think you see a bud that is ripe for harvest.
I don’t see any quite yet. Most just started another growth spurt. :+1: :sunglasses:
