Thanks my first grow was with miracle grow and I only got a oz off two plants. That’s what i ment by living proof miracle grow is too hot. 
Ya its weird eh! My brother just trimmed his and got 5 oz off 2 plants in miracle grow but once again taste and smells garbage …he has finally made the switch to normal soil this week woooo

Let me jump back and say people here have used miracle grow and had good results. Me not so much. Lol
The problem isn’t just that mg is too hot, it’s also that you can’t flush at the end of the grow. Every time you water more fertilizer is released. So plants that are grown in mg usually have buds that taste harsh.
My first grow was in mg. The plants grew huge, but the smoke… ugh, like chemicals and fire.
