Is this a veg tent? Iâm only asking cause 100 watts is only enough to flower one plant.
Except itâs really not. Seeing a lot of folks buying lights that are generally only going to push some larf across the finish line.
The logic is usually something along the lines of Iâll spend a little to see if I like growing my own.
The problem with that is youâre not going to like growing your own if the end product is larf.
Thanks for the uplifting constructive criticism, donât think Iâll be posting anything here anymore.
Wasnât trying to put you down, but appears it came across that way. I told you the truth, rather than say âgreat light gro bro youâre on your way to pound town now!â.
Apologies if I came across as harsh, it wasnât intentional.
Sorry. I would want to know before I put the time into multiple plants that I wasnât going to get desirable results.
Donât take it like that growmie! You are in the right place to suceed. No one want someone to lie to them cuz thats what they want to hear. No one benefits from that. The biggest problem people have is not enough lights, then they complain.
Why are my buds so small in airy.
It is a great place to gather opinions is all Iâm saying.
The power required is based on the size of the grow space, not based on how many plants you want to fit in the space.
The brand of light you bought is ok, but isnât powerful enough to flower a 2x2 space. You need 30-35 watts of quality lighting per square foot to get nice big hard buds and harvests. The light you bought is ok for vegging a plant or two, but youâll eventually want something more powerful.
Like I said in an earlier post, this grow is a learning experience. Donât be afraid to ask for help before making any purchases.
Welcome to the community.
Personally, we grow in covert state, and the larf we grow is better than what we bought. You have to start somewhere.
You will get the majority of opinions, invest when you can in good light and good geneticsâŚ
If you catch the grow bug, and you said you were good farmer, most likely, you will be glad you hung out.
Welcome aboard grommie, we are over 60 and currently on our 4th grow. We love it.
Welcome donât go like the Growmies mentioned this is a great hub of knowledge and great information. Honesty never killed anyone but we are growing to have anything better than what out there, im almost 60 like my partner mentioned. Love growing and by stock in the solocup industry, please. Just sitting here trim jail, wax and Everclear honey Merry Christmas.

@TheBaker Iâm on my second grow and everyone has been so so helpful. I bought a burple light/tent kit & screwed the first one up with nutrient dosing, but through their tutelage and a new light like yours and then added another, we saved it. Those I have shared with said itâs the best smoke theyâve had in a long time.
An enormous amount of knowledge here. Post your grow, ask for help when needed, and you will be rewarded.
Welcome to the family @TheBaker happy growing my friend
Welcome to the forum and happy growing, @TheBaker.
I used Mars Hydro lights in the beginning 4 or so years ago & members here directed me to HLG lights. I bought their Scorpion Diablo, for my 5x5 tent & 2 of their other lights for a 2x2 mother tent & 3x4 vegging closet. It made a world of difference in all aspects of my grows. When you do another upgrade ask @dbrn32 for an opinion he really knows lighting for growing. There is a fella named Bruce Bugsby on u-tube that will explain alot about lighting but never seen him mention brands. And welcome to the forum. Another thought investigate using DLI (daily light increments) hereâs a thread about it

Welcome @TheBaker and enjoy the Grohood.
