@dbrn32 I am currently using a Vivosun 4000 led in my 4x4x80” tent (7 gal soil, GSCE Auto) and was wondering what you thought about adding 2 Vivosun 1000 led lights angled down from above the canopy in opposite corners with a probability of switching corners every other day? I use the 1000’s to start off my plants and what’s on my desk under them currently is about to go out into the yard. I’ve read that tight buds come from better lighting.?.? Any thoughts? Much appreciated bud.
Im sure it would help.
@dbrn32 I was worried about overdoing it and wrecking havoc on my current situation. I’m not unhappy with where I’m at, I just want to maximize these ladies to achieve their full potential. I’m just so green myself that I’m afraid I’ll cross a line and destroy sh!t lol. I know your the resident lighting expert in here so I wanted to run it past you first. I look at the BOM entries and want that level of flower myself. Thank you for your response. I appreciate it.
You have plenty of room. Because you’ll be putting light where plants aren’t accustomed, start with them a little further away than you intend on running. After a few days you should be plenty good moving newer light closer.
Cool. It’s actually 2 1000’s. They’ll fit up in the corners at a 45 degree-ish angle to hit my sides. I want to hit these girls with all they can take and stack up some silly dense colas. They’re 69 days old so we have some time left.
How did his work out for you? Do you have pics of the set up?
I don’t have pics, now those 1000’s are on my table for some clones I’m playing with. When I set the tent back up for this next go around I’m leaning on adding UVA lighting for like 3 hrs per day instead.
