Just started these two gals 2 weeks ago. They are afgan kush under two hundred watts of LED light. These are two of the three plants that I have started for my first ever indoor grow. All my previous grows have been outdoor. These two are in soil, the other is in a DWC and flowering now. It was started 8 weeks before the ones in the pictures. My question is, do I trim out some of the leaves or just let them go. Like the one in the DWC, these are getting very bushy, very quickly. The one in the DWC had leaves as big as my hand in the first 2 weeks of growth and was extremely thick. It has lots of air and circulation with great nutes. The ones in soil are in a mix of Ocean Forest and Happy Frog with 25% worm castings and they are taking off great. So being a first timer at the indoor stuff. I need to know, do I trim out some of the leaves for air circulation and light penetration. Thank you for any guidance.
You can start tying some of the limbs down to the side of your pot to help open her up and will help with airflow and light reaching the middle. Looks good so far.

Im unable to grow outside but between the bugs, rain causing bud rot and damaging winds, i think i would probably still grow inside. I hate putting effort into a project just to have something waste all my energy.
I’m in the SoCal desert. The only thing I have a problem outdoors with, is the extreme heat. A lot of the strains don’t have a good time in 110-118 degree heat. They certainly don’t grow as thick and bushy in that kind of heat. Happy New Year to ya.
