Roger that, I’m on it. Thank you sir!
Make sure you clean the tent really well before your next run.
Nanners smashed! Yes, cleaning is on my list for next time. (Well, before next time).
They looked huge in the photo, but I don’t think they had produced pollen yet. Nothing visible anyway. Bits I pulled went into paper towel sprayed with alcohol and into trash away from grow. Thankfully they showed up pretty late in the grow.
@Autos-only I wanted to ask you: are you using coco? If so, is it bagged or brick? If bagged (or soil mix) I was thinking that may be why a lower amount of Gaia Green works well for you. My plants are definitely using up all I’ve given them and are showing deficiencies. I went with brick coco. I’ll do the same next grow, but canna coco instead of poor quality generic bricks and more perlite and EWC.
How’s your grow going?
I’m using a peat based living soil I reuse, I put it in my worm bin and keep rotating.
The grow went well, I harvested the mango smiles and I’m 7 days in on another run.
Ughhhh nanners. Looks like @Autos-only got u covered. Sorry im on the road this week, and wont be on during the day as much.
Hey, no worries! Thanks for the responses. I’m keeping an eye on things now that I know what to look out for. I’m hoping the heat lets up some too. Fingers crossed for the next week or two being when things are ready, at least for the Critical.
@Autos-only Thats a nice recycling process you have. My worm bin is kinda lethargic due to the heat, even with putting some frozen water bottles in there to help them out some. But they’ve laid a lot of eggs, so they can’t be too unhappy.
When I ordered my worms they sat in my mailbox from 9am to 5:30pm on one of the hottest days of summer. I think only half of them made it, but they have definitely made a recovery and thriving now.
OBJECTS IN MIRROR APPEAR LARGER
Holy crap that is off of an auto??!
@Autos-only Nice to know about the worms. It’s been pretty brutal here heat-wise and I’m not even outside. I feel sorry for the little guys, but they seem to be hanging in there.
@Kalluil Yep! That’s an auto, both this grow are. The bud is pretty tiny, the original picture is really deceptive because you can’t tell size. Here is another pic for scale, you can see the gap from the little area I removed. The quarter is as far back as the bud is…
Yes that was Dosi auto by ILGM.
What? It’s Critical by Seedsman. Maybe the wrong thread?
@Autos-only @ChittyChittyBangin I hope everyone is doing well.
Here’s my harvest update. The Critical was harvested the last week of July. It was pretty larfy, and some areas were actually white in color (and not due to resin). I think this was chlorosis due to either stress or lack of light from a dense set of fan leaves (I didn’t do any thinning this grow, but sure would next grow of this strain). Of course, it could be due to both factors. I unintentionally overdried it a bit, but I was planning to use it for kief anyway so I don’t think it’s much of an issue. Total dried weight (without sugar and fan leaves and stems) was 5.3 ounces.
The Northern Lights turned out pretty good! The buds are nice and dense and there really wasn’t too much trimming to do. Mainly just trimmed fan leaves before drying. I made some adjustments during the drying process this round and it turned out much better. After drying, I put everything into Grove bags. Pic is of harvest before final trimming, sitting on 20”x24” dry sift screens. Total dried weight (without fan leaves and stems) was 7.7 ounces. I’m happy with that! I’d grow this strain again just for the ease of trimming, but the effects are nice too. I’m really happy that things turned out so well for my first time doing this. Now I just have to repeat it!
Hell ya dude that looks amazing! Great job! Let me know when you start the next
Thanks! I appreciate that. I’ll tag you when the next grow is started. It will be a couple weeks.
