FYI - It will be one year before that takes effect - and it could definitely be changed before then fingers crossed
There’s also a possibility marijuana could be reclassified from a Schedule I to a Schedule III drug as well.

They have done nothing but protect big pharma that’s what this is about not protecting or caring about us. I use this for pain i was crushed by 4700lbs steel I-beam and although i only have 3 of my 4 quadricepts attached in my one leg 2 steel rods 1 in each leg . I was denied disability and the doctors will not prescribe me pain pills because of my past.so what am i to do now take heroine or fentynal this is goverment overreach clean and simple. What is anyone who doesn’t want those big pharma poison and instead use this plant to do?

It specifically says .03 or .04 thc i cant remember which either way is impossible even for a CBD plant to achieve they will have to strip.it completely out of the bill and it becomes law in 90 days not 1 yr from my understanding

Thank you i read somewhere 90 days maybe that’s just most of whats in the bill starting i can admit my mistake it still is complete bullshit and these Traitors need to be sent packing to prison .Im tired of getting a right back from this corporate government to take it away again when it never should have been taken in first place its only an attack to benefit the plastic, paper,& pharmaceutical industries against the hemp industry because its cheaper and better for everyone than the petroleum based medications & plastics. It allows these other industries to keep a monopoly on everything

Also, there was a post started prior to this one:

I posted some of the actual bill and underlined what I interpreted as seeds banks could still be considered “industrial hemp”. I could be wrong, but I’d like to hope I’m right

The sky is falling. The sky is falling. Pure panic without a full understanding of the bill. 1 year before implementing if it does. No clue on any exceptions. Just a pure flip out by everyone. Normal. Lets not jump ship before we see if it is going to sink.

Thank you for this!

We went from illegal to still illegal. I have been telling people to be careful what they ask for as long as I can remember. Nothing good comes out of anything politicians are involved with.

I do agree and stand with you. The true criminals usually dress in suit and tie. My Dad lost his leg in a motorcycle accident in 1983 and was denied disability as well. I have a lot of other opinions about these types of things but won’t ramble on. They don’t care about us.

Time to invest in your personal seed bank if you have not done so already. Some of us expected big pharma to try to take away this non-opioid drug option.

Big pharma is bigger threat to seed industry through genetically mapping, sterilizing, and patents on genetics. While I don’t expect anything with this bill to change much with seed availability here, they have always been a threat.
