I always bend just before watering, when they are sagging for need of water. After watering, the plant fills her up to max and can be very brittle. Things can snap easily in this manner. If it ever happens to a main stem, you can patch her up with pipe tape and she will usually heal right up.
Ok, I’m not sure what’s going on the plant isn’t hot but it’s not as green. I can’t tell if it’s going into flower mode or not.
@Eagles009 @Unknown @Highplainsgrower, @JaneQP @Holmes @pptrsha1
mine look like that when they need more nitrogen
Did you start giving it bloom nutrients
@Highplainsgrower
Not yet. Scheduled for next week. I just gave it it’s last grow time nutrients.
Also I didn’t see any buds growing.
Have you tried peroxide?
Remind me what light your using and how far away it’s positioned? You giving any cal mag or epsom?
What was your ph on last feeding
Using cal mag. Currently I have the light quite high it was getting too hot so I had to switch it out. The lights aren’t hot at all LED lights two of them. One over the little plant and one over the other two.
I do have another led light but it was causing the plants to burn so I unhooked that on. The temp Guage is wrong I believe. The white one always seems more realistic.
In or out? 6.0 in 5.0 out.
Looks like a magnesium deficiency to me.
@Eagles009
Ok how do I add that?
Your already giving cal mag, full dose per instructions? If you wanted to increase magnesium you could use epsom salt. How long ago was the light stress? My plants that suffer light stress usually manifest a magnesium issue after the light has been adjusted.
In response to this I just give full dose cal mag or a little more each watering until it clears up…and tell myself I won’t cook them with the light anymore ![]()
Lol! I mix it as it says. Never thought about the salts. I see a lot of salt deposits on the bag where the roots started sticking them selves out.
Light stress was a couple weeks ago. It turned around in a day. I’m wondering if I’m under watering. I normally water once daily. But since it’s grown could it need more? And I only give it about a quarter gallon. Today it needed a full half gallon cuz of the nutes.
I also use mykos and azos every other day.
Also anyone use ammonium sulfate? How much do you use in a 5 gl bag? Is there a thing as too much nitrogen?
What was the TDS of your last runoff on the one that is yellowing?
Yes N-toxicity
That is not why it is turning yellow though.
Post a clear pic plant in Question and put only one pic in post!
As far as ready to flower, you look at the Bracts where branches connect to main stem.
It’s all new growth on top.
