Neem oil? When should i use it?

Had some concerns about tiny white dots on my leaves. When lookingbthrough a jewlers eye, o do not identify and pests on the leaves but introduced a bit of neem oil just in case. These are still in veg so i wanted to do it now before i flip them.

Any suggestions on how to apply?

I know they say qait until the lights are about to shut off, but i applied mine in the morning. Am i safe?

Thank you all

Neem is not recommended if you are flowering.
Otherwise you should be fine.
Most here like Cptn Jacks Dead Bug as its safer than neem. No oil residue either.
Also can be used during flower too.

Neem oil should be mixed with dish soap, depends on amount. Drop or 2.

In farming, we use dish soap as a surfactant, its a sticking agent. Buying said product is pricey, using dish soap saves alot of money.

Without a sticking agent, it drips off before doing its job.

I use Neem oil, in the premixed bottle as a spray during veg only. The reason to use it when the lights are turning off is so the lights don’t burn the plant. Use a fan to blow on the plant to dry it. I use it as a preventative when they are about 3 weeks old and again about 3 weeks later.

Skippy hit the nail on the head, the light magnifys the water spots on the leaves and burns them if done while lights are on after spraying.

I have a big fan of less spray and more Neem meal. It breaks down to a nitrogen feed and prevents bugs without stinking and slicking/burning the plants with oil. It’s like a low dose background Neem radiation. I learned this from my old buddy @CurrDogg420. I think he was onto something.
