Needing help with mouwi wouwi

Mouwi wouwi photos. Indoor tent grow in fabric pots. Ocean forest bottom half and coco loco top half with worm castings. Feeding humbolts secrete nutrients ph of feeding is 6.2. 1100 ppm. Under led lights and reading around 900 par at top of plants. Rum off ph is 6.36 on one and 6.34 on second one. Run off ppm is 900 on one and 1300 on second. Added kelp to last watering and always add cal mag to every feeding. Using distilled water with drops of ballance for minerals. Only my third grow and i have issues everytime i go into flower but i was running advanced nutrients and could bring them out of it but with humbolts secrete i cant seem to figure out what is going on.

Hey @Jay2022 your plants are doing pretty good. Your pH and ppm look right on to me. Feeding schedule and amendments are spot on. I’d say a bit of LST to get better light penetration could help by opening up your lower flowers to some light. They look pretty close putting a loop on them to check Trichomes for color.
I’d be pretty happy with those flowers!!

Agree with @LateNightGardner on the numbers being on point and harvest being close. How long in flower, could be going into fade mode this close to harvest :love_you_gesture:

Getting alot of lighter green colors and spotting with some turning brown. There in week 9 of flower. My soil ph was creeping up on me close to 7.0 so added more worm castings to help level off as i have read that worm castings help stabilize ph and making soild a little more acidic and it did help the soil ph to stop creeping up on me. I did try low sress traing again but the limbs are getting pretty stiff and ended up breaking a couple by trying to tie them down. I have used a pot 4 pot soil. Tried advanced nutrients. Flora flex. Now humbolts secrete and have issues every grow. I normally only grow autos for indoor grows.

Correct me if im wrong @LateNightGardner and @OGIncognito but even though hes in coco and ffof but adding castings, shouldnt his ph be 6.5 to 6.8 since hes treating it like soil? Dont quote me @Jay2022 im usually wrong when it comes to coco still learning. I was understanding until i saw castings.

That’s a tough one on the PH when you mix the 2 different mediums. Maybe treat it like the FF Coco Loco around 6.3-6.5. I use this bag medium when I can’t mix coco and this PH has worked so far :love_you_gesture:

I only added the castings later becuse the soil ph was creeping up on me. It was around 7.0 and after adding castings and watering next round it dropped to 6.3

I’d say that’s a call I’d make to bring the. pH to around 6.3 when watering. It tends to drop on me after watering when I’m using my Hydroponics DWC systems.
One thing to consider is how coco coir can absorb nutrients.

Coco coir is a popular growing medium for plants, especially cannabis. It has a high cation exchange rate, which means it stores and releases nutrients as needed. However, coco coir tends to hold calcium, magnesium, and iron ². This can lead to nutrient lockout, which occurs when plants are unable to absorb the nutrients they need to survive, develop, and grow ¹. Nutrient lockout can also occur due to a pH imbalance in the growing medium ¹.

To prevent nutrient lockout in coco coir, you can use specific coco coir nutrients to boost calcium, magnesium, and iron levels for healthy crops ². You can also measure the pH of the growing medium and keep it in the range of 5.5-6.5 in hydroponic systems and 6.0-6.8 in soil systems ¹⁴. High electrical conductivity (EC) levels can cause salt buildup in the coco coir, which can lead to nutrient lockout and plant stress ⁴.

I hope this helps!
