Need to hang lights 4 new grow

Wanting to setup a new grow indoors. Question for the more experienced growers, I want to hang my leds without having to put holes in my ceiling. I don’t want a tent, and I need a way to hang two lights to cover around 4x4 5x5 ish. I checked online and they sell these stands that seems to be too small and too over priced.

Who has a recommendation? Also, I want to be able to set up so that it I want to change rooms I can.
Ps
Day 73 of my outdoor girls, checked trichomes and I think I’m about to chop, more trichomes are turning amber.

One idea you can look up is a photography background stand.

Check out garment racks, easy way to hang a light.

Both good ideas. Only problem I have is that I feel I will be limited to putting the plants under neath when the legs of the stands are in the way

You could set the pots in between and on the outside of the legs. Btw the photo one has a stand on each end and an overhead bar. Nothing on the bottom. Google backdrop stand. Both height and width are adjustable fyi.

The photography light stand sounds like it could fit in my sideways scheme lifestyle. Need to research em now

If you decide on that do a little extra checking and get one that the top pieces have a way of locking together.

You know anyone who’s done it ?
Another idea I thought of was pvc diy setup. Some dude has a video on it too
I just don’t feel like doing all that :joy_cat:

DIY can be PVC, 2x4 wood etc. I have a backdrop stand but dont use it for grow lights.

Have you thought about one of those shower rods that adjust or maybe two. Would be a little bit of a pain to adjust height but I think it would work if the span ain’t all that big.

@Hareesa
Hi all…I’m an electrician who uses 1/2" EMT for alot of these types of projects. Small, steel and galvanized for wet locations. It comes in 10’ lengths. You can use all the clamp designs they have to attach to your grow room frames, ceilings etc. Home D, Lowes and cheap.

Hope this helps!!

I bought this “flowering tent” from HD online and used EMT for the frame. The frame they sold for it had shelving in the way so I had to improvise and make my own

Without seeing your area not sure if this will work. If you have a wall on each end of that space they make compression rods like a shower curtain rod. If that is doable you also can adjust the height as needed. Peace

I’ve seen vendors at coral swaps (saltwater aquaria) Build stands with pvc and they use black box and led lights just like we do. Simple, cheap, and easy to work with.

I may have to bite the bullet and do some handy man stuff with pvc. I may try to find someone to throw a couple bucks to build for me. I will tell him it’s for my garden seedlings. Which isn’t technically a lie. I have a 50 square foot vegetable garden, and I companion plant with the weed ladies which I find to be highly beneficial on many fronts.

i bought these for racks, but you can buy longer poles and put another shelf high and hang from there, just a thought
