Light Hangers - Adjustable

Looking for recommendations for adjustable light hangers.

I am currently using adjustable hangers which are connected to the metal hangers that come with the lights

Anyone know if there are adjustable versions of the metal hangers that come with the lights?

I would like to raise my lights, but I’ve reached the threshold at this point.

Hopefully that makes sense, feel free to ask any clarifying questions!

Just use the adjustable rope hangers without the wire ones. 1 each corner. Use 1 if dont have enough on each end and only 1 wire. Connect in middle. Will give 8 inches.

Additionally, you can move the ceiling attachments so that the adjustable hangers are vertical, with four attachments, rather than angled in to a single attachment point. That will gain you another few inches if needed.

I was thinking of having 4 adjustable ratchets for each light, It may be a bit cumbersome to adjust all of them constantly.

I may have to suck it up this grow and deal with this set up and just move things around before the next one.

I appreciate the ideas!

When I need to squeeze a few more inches out of my light hight I use these metal light hangers one on each corner of the light

I could have gone higher even I just didn’t need to

@dmykins , I ran into the same problem last grow. I fabricated a hanger from a couple pieces of aluminum flat stock that replaced the wire coupling that the adjusters attached to. Kinda hard to explain but I’ll post a picture shortly. Far sturdier and gained a several inches.n

@dmykins , It’s a little overkill but it should last. Not enough room to get a good photo.

When my plants got tall, I removed the adjustable hangers entirely and zip-tied my light to the bars at the top of my tent for the rest of the grow.

I like it! I am going to see what I can rig up ahead of my next grow. I am going to take some inspiration from your design. I have a 3D printer, I wonder if I can fabricate something.

I converted a corner of my basement into a space. I could probably rework my lights and attach higher in the ceiling, I would just have to wait until this grow is over.

Just be sure they can handle the weight of your light.
