Hi all. My godfather og and crystal plants are 5 weeks into full flower and within a few inches of touching my lights at full elevation.
I’ve thought about zip tying the attached hangers to pinch them together to maybe gain a few more inches but haven’t tried that yet.
I’ve tied down branches and netted the plants but there is little room to much more in the tent.
Any dyi ideas to gain more height?

nice work plants are looking good Get some small pieces of electrical wire put a little hook on each end and easily bend the top coal is over and attach it to the net so they will be leaning at an angle that will gain you some hight just be gentle as not to break the tops put the piece of wire about a third of the way down from the top gently lean it over attach it to the net

Can you post a photo of their mounting hardware?

Get rid of the wires and put a hanger in each corner, it will allow you to get the light within 6 inches from the top of tent.
This is my situation via the pic. So you are saying get wire hangers to sub for the cables I’m using
If you get two more hangers for each light and put one at each corner you can eliminate all that distance lost by the long wires.

Put the carbon filter outside the tent and then you should be able to raise the light more depending on the type of hangers you’re using for light

Get rid of the wire hangers and attach your ratchet cables directly to the light. You’ll be able to get higher for sure.
