This is a pure power plant that is 70/30 sativa. It’s 10 weeks on 12/12 today. My question is, it is foxtailing on me, and continues to produce white pistils. I keep turning the light down, and am at 235w with my hlg 350r light. No amber trichs, but pretty much all amber. Should I just let it go until I see amber trichs, or should I harvest before foxtails get to bad. Temps are around 70 with lights out, and 80/84 at highest point during lights on cycle.
I just cut the foxtails off when I harvest.
So sometimes foxtailing is a genetic thing and nothing you can do to change it.
Some just simply dont have a good bud structure.
Idk if this is the case but it appears it’s all foxtails every where…
If you’re happy with the size then snip just the tips off and they will stop and potentially redirect and fatten a little.
But foxtailing dont hurt the buzz, harvest when trichomes are where you want them.
Ignoring the newest growth of course…
Thanks, I’m starting to see a little bit of amber, and it is mostly a sativa, so going to chop Wednesday. Also it keeps foxtailing, but the buds feel very solid. These are pics from today.
Yeah could just be a genetic thing and she should still smoke just fine.
I grow 7-12 at a time and if it’s from seeds and not clones, there usely at least one that just dosen’t have “good bud structure”. Still smokes just fine though in my experience
Those fox tails will contribute to some fine trim for making whatever you make with your trim.
