Need some help, starting out

Question from a fellow grower:

Anyways right now I have the following products, miracle gro organic potting soil, organic worm castings, and 5-1-1 organic fish fertilizer.

I was going to mix the soil and castings at a 3:1 and then add the 5-1-1. Beyond that I plan to use your products.

My lighting for the germination phase is a 4 bulb 60w each cfl light, I will have 4 pots so 1 60w cfl light per seedling.

I also have a main 2000w led light that I will be using as the primary lighting.

My question is, should that light remain turned off until the cfl lights are done (10 days after sprouting I think?) or should I just keep it like 6 feet above and turn it on?

Also should I wait until I get your fertilizers before using my own? I don’t want to over feed.

Also 5-1-1 in my germination soil or no?

The plants will be planted in the same 5 gallon pots that they will spend the rest of their lives in.

1 welcome to the forum bunch of info in here. sSo join up while you can.

I would not put any nutes in your seedling soil. If your going to using ILGM ertilizer wait toil you get it. your seedling s will live off stored goodies for at last 1 or 2 weks. your going to need a ph meter and a TDS meter if you don’t have them all ready.

Also the worm casting are gret. I use 6 lbs pr 1 cuft of soil. @BIGE or @garrigan62 could help you with your lights.

Stay with the cfl lighting until they have been transplanted into larger pots for vegging . does your
L E D have a switch for veg and flower ? If it does just use the vegg when your ready. That should be it.
