Need help ladies not looking right

Me too!!

I understand that there may be many different way to accomplish a salt breakdown, I have this, it works, and I am getting very good results. So I am going to continue what is working for me. (Which I think is @MrPeat 's point) We all grow differently. Nothing is wrong if it is working for the grower…

Who said anything about wrong?

No one. I guess I could have made my point clearer. But bottom line is that whatever works for a grower, works. And that’s good. :peace_symbol:

So these leaf hoppers are back again this year and they carry a virus that causes tomatoe plants to suffer from ‘leaf curl’ and stop growing at the tops. Last year they infected one of my plants even though I was using a garden safe spray to combat them. This year CJDB is on my list to purchase.

We’re alike in that I seem to be growing with a modicum of success doing it my way as well. I’ve used MirGro products with very little issues holding me back. It’s why I call my grows The Miracle Grows. Seems most other growers hate MG products with a fever lol. It’s not really any hotter than FF. It just needs time to be depleted as well. :man_shrugging::wink::sunglasses:

Yup…that is why I will say it works for me and may not for you. This is also why I say I’m an anomaly. My indoor conditions is pretty extreme. House has no insulation nor drywall. It’s wood paneling so I had to adapt to my unique conditions.

I got what you said immediately.

When it comes to Fox Farms soils and nutrients, I think I have some insight after using them for 4 year only and when I add my 2nd tent, one will be with Jack’s and my main will be FF.

@Docnraq Tag me anytime. If I can help, I will. :+1:

@Fieldofdreams Beautiful photos…I know a girl in Europe that is completely fascinated by all insects, snakes, spiders and what not. I showed a picture of
One I found outside and she identified it immediately.

Go to YT and look up Sheep Rain Frog. They are a trip and we have them here. If I was outside grower, frogs would be in the garden. She told me about this frog…also look up Desert Frog. Just don’t have the speakers cranked up.

I’ve got a ton of leafhoppers as well. I wish they would go on my tomato plant and leave my girls alone lol
I’ve added beneficial insects, some yesterday and others coming tomorrow. Will take a few weeks no doubt, but hopefully they will help eliminate the pests without spraying… fingers crossed :crossed_fingers:
Btw, I think the leafhoppers are beautiful and I hate to kill them. But I will.

This is all the reason I need not to touch miracle grow, even with somebody else’s 10 ft pole.

@Beck They hung out all through my last grow, it seemed every time I sprayed they were back within a few days and honestly up until the 1 plant got stunted I wasn’t overly concerned with them. Then I couldn’t figure out what was happening and there’s like 0 stuff written online that I could find about them or cannabis curling (not tacoing) other than the havoc they create with the virus to tomato’s. But the curl is absolutely similar so I attribute it to them. Their fault by default lol.

Yeah I don’t see them actually doing much but hanging out. I did read something recently that indicated they are indeed hurting the plant. They insert their eggs into plant tissues, usually leaves. They suck plant fluids with stylet mouthparts. But your right, as soon as the spray dries they’re back!

You and I my friend are very similar in our approach. KISS is the method I prefer. I use FF trio for soil. HF, OF and CL. I transplant 4 times total from germ to final home for budding. FF soils have about 4-6 weeks worth of nutes in them so I only feed at the beginning of flower and the 4th week in and that carries me through to harvest. Water, light, love & conversation is my blueprint. I have never tested anything. Less is more with cannabis.

I can’t get the light any further away. Should I cut down on the intensity of the light ?

:point_up_2: hey that’s me :joy::joy::love_you_gesture:
