I get what you mean thanks for the info
Great explanation @peachfuzz
ā¦
@Mr.Chrontini, you are not in the same boat as Chow. Your soil is more acidic than Chow. Chow as a nearly perfect pH soil now. peachfuzz give a great answer, you even can have some bugs in a batch of soil and, from the same compagny but from another batch, you wonāt.
As for my sources, the chart come from here ILGM forum, there is a topic called charts and graphs, you should take a look, itās very informative Charts and graphs, and from my numburous years of gardening and study.
Hoping thatās gone a help you,
~Al
Thanks for the help!! Here is an issue Iām having nowā¦
heres an update on my first grow
What is the strain and type(unknown bag seed, strain name, regular seeds, feminized seeds, auto-flower, etc)? Unknow bag seed
Indoor or Outdoor? If outdoor, planted in ground or in a container? Indoor
Size of space (max height and area, length/width)? 1.2mx1.2mx2m
Soil or Hydro? Type of Medium used? System type?
Soil
pH? Of the soil or medium (root zone/reservoir/run-off) and of the water and/or nutrient mix that is fed to the plant?
6.3-6.6
Type and strength of nutrients used? NPK? EC/TDS/PPM levels? Of what you feed it as well as what is in the water by itself and in the soil/medium (run-off), or reservoir.
using classic canna veg a and b at half strength only
Temperature? Day vs. night temp or highest and lowest temps? Root zone temps? max 28c min 21c

Light system/watts/lumens/FLUX/PAR? 600w hps and a t8 4 foot fluro
Ventilation system? Size? CFM? CO2? AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier? Have 2 fans one before and one after the light with carbon filter and 2 clipper fan, not sure on the sizes of them
Number āweeks/daysā from into Season, Vegetative Growth or Bloom/flowering? Plants are about 8 weeks in veg but first 6 week only were on a friends window sil only been under light at 18/6 for 2 weeks
the bigger one of the two was taking off great but now the top leaves have started to look a bit droopy and crisp so i moved the light up higher,i think i over watered her last week so i left her for a few days and have only been watering every 2nd or 3rd day also moved her a bigger pot this morning and watered heavily. roots were looking awesome!
the little one was going slow but after i fed her some nutes her top leaves got big and green the next day.
germinated another seed 8 days ago and is looking good
but my concern is the biggest one could someone tell me whats going on with it?
@peachfuzz @Nug-bug @Niala @Myfriendis410 any help would ne greatly appreciated
@Chow My Fellow Cultivator You Are Overwatering Your Lil ladyā¦
It looks like a 1 gallon pot , which is fineā¦ but you must let her dry outā¦
If you donāt , you can expect bug problems , pH issues , nutrient lock out and all sorts of other thingsā¦
Fill out a support ticket to get a better over all diagnosis of the problemā¦
But in the mean time just water when she needs itā¦ maybe every 2 or 3 daysā¦
Fill a same size pot with dry soil and feel the differenceā¦
Water when your baby needs itā¦
@peachfuzz Iām asking because Iāve never done and Iām guessing these are photos but Iāve never grown in a 1 gallon pot is it possible without getting root bound ?
I thought might be the case i was watering nearly everyday before because when i went a knuckle deep in the soil it was dry but this was before i knew the temperature in the tent and it was way too hot but its good now so i only water every 3 days or so,
I filled out a ticket above the photos
But will let em all dry out more, cheers for that
@Chow, watering cycle really ought to be water to runoff with ph 6.5 water and donāt water until the plant is about to start drooping. This allows the plant to push roots out looking for water and helps prevent other problems as @peachfuzz stated. This is the main reason we transplant multiple times so that we achieve a frequent wet to dry cycle.
Simply put: donāt love them to death.
Will do thanks!
Yes you canā¦
Iāve ran from start to finish with pots that were just a little bigger than a solo cup with air pruning holes up the side to keep the roots healthyā¦
There were 20 clones from a lemon haze plant in a water heater tray that was 2 1/2 foot by 2 1/2 foot ā¦
After they rooted I vegged them for 3 weeks and cut off all side shoots and threw them into flowerā¦no toppingā¦ during transition I continued to cut off any side branches and after 15 weekās in flower I ended up with huge Colas that were over a foot and a half longā¦
In the middle of flower a net had to be added because the buds were to massive for the little potsā¦ also I was watering and or feeding twice a day sometimesā¦ you really have to be on top of things when using this methodā¦ if I were smart , I would have added a self watering system at the timeā¦
That grow was also done under twelve 3500 Kelvin cflās that said they were a 100 watt equivalentā¦
I donāt remember how much medicine I got from that runā¦ but it was an awesome experiment that was totally worth itā¦ learned alot from that runā¦ especially when it comes to space and height limitationsā¦ @Hogmaster
Thanks bro
Just an update all the girls looking wayyyy better!!
The biggest one all the new leaves are curling and i canr figure out why, ph is going in is at 6.5 and run off is 6.3 ant help would be greatly appreciated
And the white powder is DE just as prevention
When you FIM, from what Iāve seen is that the new growth gets twisted, mangled up looking.
Perhaps this is what your seeing?
@Chow
Yeah that would make sense since its only where ive topped it the leaves had started twisting
They look great!
Just an update
Installed a scrog and got friend gave me another 2 seedlings
Been vegging for about 8 weeks not sure when i switch it over to flower!?
If you want full effect of scrogg then you need to wait a couple more weeks . When you have filled the screen 75-80% then flip to flower schedule and keep tucking till she startsš
Yeah i was thinking about letting them go for another week or 2
