Need help finding a dehumidifier

Hello ladies and gentlemen
I’m looking for recommendations on a good dehumidifier for my lung room
Lungs room is 12ft x 16 ft
I have purchased a 70 pint dehumidifier and did not bring my lung room down past 55% Rh

I returned the 70 pint and purchased a 120 pint dehumidifier that would only get to about 50% and only when lights out and not all night long either
Nothing less then 50% rh

I need something that can bring my lung room down to 40%-45% with not too much effort and also stay off longer then it stays on.
Any and all recommendations most definitely welcomed.
Thank you in advance.

Ps I thought I created a topic earlier but I can’t find it lol so if this is duplicate please delete the other.

My lung room is almost twice the size of yours and I use a 50 pint. It is able to keep the RH below 50, sometimes 45 if I leave it on all the time. That is in the summer when Humidity is unbearable here. Can I ask if you are venting your tent back into the lung room? If you are, I don’t know how you could overcome that. The brand name on mine is Midea, it was what they had at Wal Mart. I have to empty it twice daily in summer and it removes about 3 gallons of water a day from the air. I don’t know if any of that is helpful to you or not.

Yes I am venting in the lung room.

I was running in a 10ft x 12ft lung room before and would also vent in to the lung room and had absolutely no issues controlling humidity with a 30 pint dehumidifier.
There has to be a unit out there that can definitely do the job but after trying 2 different dehumidifier’s with no success I figured it’s time to ask around lol.

Wish I had better advice than figure out how to vent it out of that area, I can guess you would have already done that if you could.

Yes definitely been there done that
I actually went the vent out the window last grow but the loud noise from the fan echoed outside and was really really loud.
Don’t want neighbors wondering why there is a helicopter in my room :joy:
Not to mention when company comes over and trying to explain what and why is that noise :joy:
Unfortunately I need to go this route for now and find a unit that will do the job.

Ran the previous version of this from early 2015 until march, 2023. Worked great so I purchased the current iteration which has great reviews. So far so good. Quiter than the old one, seems to not run as long to maintain humidity levels and the pump is nice.

The way mine works I think you’d have to have a mister in the room before it couldn’t handle it. My whole area is right at 800 sq feet. Without the dehumidifier it’s 75-90%, I’ve even run a propane heater in the same room and it can maintain 45% and not run the whole time.

(I incubate poultry)

Now thats just how it works for me. How sealed your room is and what system, ie; hydro, aero… etc, will all make a difference.

DANG… just read an amazon review about a common ec code. Mines been great, I’ma let the big dog eat.

Anyways check it out if ya want.
