Will be starting for the first time an indoor grow later this year and I’m trying to figure how much led lighting I’ll need for a 4x6x7.5 foot grow tent. Also if later on I decide to start a seedling tent 2x2x6 how much lighting to use for that one? TIA

It’s going to depend on the LED, unfortunately. The currently marketed “blurple” lights would run around 50 watts per square foot as measured from the wall and not what the manufacturer rates as “equivalent”. If using later generation tech like a new Quantum Board, 25 watts per square foot does it. I have the same footprint and actually run a custom build at 600 watts in peak flower. 3 plants delivered 2 lbs of flower in that space last spring.

I will be doing a 4 1/2 x 5 scrog this grow. Was using hps. Going with 640w DIY photo boost led light. For that area, I think you will need one this size, but my understanding of lights is VERY limited. I always ask the resident light guru, uncle @dbrn32 about lights. He’s the one that guided me on my search

4x6 space I would consider custom build using 1120mm strips. There’s not any commercial led lights designed for that size space.
