Update: just burping the babes every few days at this point.
I ended up harvesting about 10 days earlier than I wanted to. The reason was that I really wanted to get the buds through a rinse so I could be sure that the poop, the worms, and more importantly the EGGS were gone for good. I figured what I would gain in those last few precious days was worth the sacrifice given what I would lose to inaction. I wrestled with that cost/benefit until I reached what I felt was a point of no return.
But luckily, about an hour into the harvest I spoke with someone who had a microscope and access to a testing facility. The trichomes were no more than about 12 - 15 % amber. I would have loved to stay longer but that’s life. I could have made my peace with 10% at that point. But I’m happy to say I’ll be able to report thc and cbd levels around halloween!
Hi BrandNewbian. I thought you would be interested to know that Greeny will be getting her chop either tomorrow or the next day. I am blasting her with darkness before her chop.
For your girl, I think 12-15% amber is good for a nice uplifting high. Do you like the smoke?
I peeled off a few to try. It’s not perfectly cured yet but the taste is nicer than expected despite still being a little harsh.
