My back yard has a wonderful aroma
“stench”?? You mean “wonderful aroma”!!
(Edited to add: Funny! I was replying to your post of 4 days ago as I was working my way down the thread. I used “wonderful aroma” not knowing that you had just used the words “wonderful aroma”! GREAT MINDS!
In fairness, I love the smell. I don’t expect that everyone shares my affinity! And she is really starting to put out the vibe! She knows she’s reached maturity and her biological clock is ticking
Well well well, we have developments all around. Today begins the 7th week of flowering and I’m finally feeling happy about what I’m seeing. I was pretty nervous about the paceof growth.
We are so close in our grows looking at your latest pics, and mine. You have new sprouts up a few days…I better get to sprouting if I want to grow along with you. I have two seeds I’ll get in soil tomorrow so I won’t be very far behind. I posted a cool black and white of one of my colas; check it out when you get the chance.
I love it! How does that magnifying situation look? I want to look at my trichomes too!
Here’s this morning. Mine are so thirsty in these last 10 days to two weeks. I’m planning to harvest on day 63 of flower. You?
I love the colors!

Those are great looking pics! What day of flower are you on now? I’ll have to go back and count my days up…I think you are more advanced than me by these pics. You have more amber pistils than me for sure.
Looking good @BrandNewbian
The amber pistils are a very new development (basically over the weekend) but I can tell you this, the pictures don’t do justice to the actual swelling of the buds themselves. I’m loving this phase.
One thing I’m concerned about is yellowing. I’ll snap a pic when I get home but I’ve never seen so many yellow fan leaves so high on the plant before today. It’s day 47 of flower, btw @Tr33
I know yellowing fan leaves are normal toward the end of flower, so you must be getting very close, but snap a pic and let the big dogs have a look just to make sure.
Here is the yellowing and the possible culprit! I pulled no less than 10 writhing near-perfectly camouflaged worms off of the leaves and bud. One bud is completely gone (I touched it and it fell right off) and others have started to get crispy and dark. This is a sad day. But some of it still looks really good!
Keep checking for more worms. I know some others will come along with some treatments for you. A picture of a will help. Unless you’re like me doing the “stomp worm polka” on all the hornworms that attacked my tomatoes
and peppers
.
I haven’t taken any pictures because, as you seemed to predict, I have been stomping them in a rage!
LOL I can see it now in my mind
Yep I’d stomp them
Awe man, that sucks. There seems to be a lot of the worms on the west coast. I read a couple journals where people were throwing nets over their plants, so maybe that is something for next time. I guess I like the indoor grow because if it dies it will be me and not nature that kills her. Glad to hear there is still some good stuff left though. I think you will get some good advice on the next steps from people who are going through that too.
I just copied this from AL, Niala I think it is from another journal who is going through the same thing.
