My seedling's seed membrane is stuck around its leaves, and so the leaves can't open yet - is this a problem?

Overnight the seedling popped up over the soil, and it’s now over an inch tall, but it has been unable to open its seed leaves due the seed’s membrane being stuck around the leaves. The seed shell popped off this morning.

Is this a problem? I trust that the new plant will bust through the membrane any time now? If not, should I at all help it?

Give it one day and if its still stuck put a drop of water on it for a few minutes and take a toothpick or tweezers and GENTLY remove the husk.
Be careful as its easy to pull up the whole seedling if not careful.

Thanks, Spiney, sounds good. If I need to do that, I’ll also gently dry it off. I know that nature takes its course, but … I can be a nervous mama, lol. One of the leaves is beginning to escape from the membrane, so she’s fighting to get some damned light on her new leaves, ha.

Update: All seems to be well! The seed membrane was still stuck onto the leaves this morning, so I VERY GENTLY supported the plant and pulled at the membrane. The second attempt was easily successful. One of her roots was already poking out of its seedling pellet, so it seems that she’s been doing her thing regardless. The serrated leaves have already doubled in size in the past three hours.
