My little 2x2 grow

Hi everyone!
This is my little setup for personal smoke. I use my big tent for preservation runs… Here I have a 2x2. 5ft I think it is. I love organics so I went outside and found some old rotted wood bark that was about 75 percent composted. Leave the bark pieces for mold… I found some cheap old potting mix and some worm castings, mixed it all together and just like that I have an excellent grow medium with all sorts of benificial bacteria. I have been using knf techniques for organic ferts. (Korean Natural Farming). I made a fermented plant and fruit juice I’ll post below. I found 4 bananas, some pickles, an onion and a can of beans. I then mixed it with equal parts of dark brown sugar then put everything in a 2 quart mason jar and topped it off with white sugar because I ran out of the dark. Waited a week and through osmotic pressure all the goodies went to the bottom of the jar. Ezpz!! Strain and collect and refrigerate. This stuff lasts a looong time and works great! I have been using 4 tablespoons of that with 50 ml of coconut water, and a tablespoon of aloe vera in one gallon of water every 2 to 3 waterings. I just dump the whole gallon on the bottom of the tent and the plant drink it right up. Kinda like a wick system. I also added some rock dust and magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt) and yes you can use the kind with fragrances in it to the medium. 3 to 4 pinches per gallon of medium. These plants are in one gallon fabric pots under two 100 watt leds with Samsung diodes, far red, uv… I found those for 33 dollars on amazon. One would grow dank but I just had to use two. I have 4 plants. The 2 in the back are sour d from csi Humboldt and the front left is a Indiana bubblegum also from them, and a big bud front right corner I got from a friend. Again super cheap methods for pennies on the dollar that will grow bud good enough for any cannabis cup! I will keep up on updates. Thanks!

@JIL , is that a 2x2 or a 2x4. 200w for a 2x2 is killing it. Girls look wonderful :clap::clap::clap::clap:. Looks like you are going down that KNF rabbit hole :+1::+1::+1::+1:nice. Looks like you are off to a great start.

Thanks @KoolHandLuke! Yes sir it’s a 2x2. So it should be enough lol. For best results you want 7000 to 7500 lumens per Sq ft. I do love organics and not just knf… so many people think that they need to buy high dollar products that to me gross me out when you can collect what mother nature has to offer and with some direction utilize it. Don’t get me wrong I do use a little soluble Jacks here and there. I have had incredible results mixing chemical ferts with organics…

Hey how ya doing i grow organically aswell and i make my own banana fertilizer i use five bananas and cucumbers i would weigh them and then i would cut them into smaller pieces place in a bowl then i would weigh out the same weight in brown sugar and i would add three tablespoons of molasses and i would mix them all up until it starts to go into a liquid then i place in a big jar i cover up the top with paper towel so the good bacteria stays in and the bad bacteria stays out i would leave it for about three to four weeks then i strain it and put the liquid in to a jar. I also grow in a 2×2×6 ft

Awesome! Any type of squash is good. Black beans are good too. They are full of nutrients. When I do ferments with milk and yogurt during the summer I take a 6 gallon bucket and cut up everything I’m growing in the garden with a case of black beans, a gallon of milk and 6 yogurt cups. Cover and let bake in the heat for 2 weeks and man will that make your plants glow!! The brix levels sky rocket! And of course some molasses. It don’t take much though… it’s like phosphorus you don’t need a whole lot. Calmag is another overly used hype thing that people are making millions on. I’m doing another preservation run. I don’t know if the moderators here would like it if I posted it though.

Only way to find out is post it all they will do is take it down

Thanks for looking guys! Here’s an update on the 2 sour ds, bubblegum, and big bud. I pollenated these with pollen from my last preservation run from genetics out of South Africa. I will be looking for testers somewhere… I’m just using the ferment with coconut water, aloe vera gel with seaweed in it. Epson salt and a bump of azomite sometimes. The bubble gum does smell like, we’ll bubblegum…

Yep! That would be a ferment. Its a Korean natural farming technique.

That’s what’s up I take it you make a tea out of it.

Yes sir. I use around a tablespoon per gallon of water every other watering

@JIL im very interested in knf was wondering if it’s a all in one feed or do we require different mixes for different stages?

Hers a link that will get you started. When it comes to making the ferments i usually mix everything together as one…

Ok thank you I appreciate you taking the time!
