I used the 18g starburst jello and 4 1/4 oz packs of knox unflavored gelatin. When you bloom the jello/gelatin you should be looking at it and thinking there’s no way this is right, this is too much powder for the liquid.
I’m eventually going to do another version of this with RSO. My guess is won’t be able to make them taste as good as I’d like (because RSO tastes horrible) but It’s worth a shot.
Currently I make RSO fudge to help my mother sleep through the pain of fibromyalgia (sp?) if anyone wants that recipe I may do a quick write up on that. Far easier, tastes good, and as powerful as RSO so very potent.
I use my infused coconut oil for my gummies and cookies, i have a sour canna gummie recipe from youtube. They turn out very nice no or very little canna taste
I’m wanting to make some gummies! Can you clarify the “ amounts” of non flavored gelatin and jello?
Also I’m wanting to use 1cup of infused mct which I’ve already got and I’ve already added the lecithin during infusion
I know my gummies take a half cup so I’d double like you mentioned, i also use flavored drinks to help with the flavors. I have flavors i also add, I make a great sour gummie.
so I followed the recipe exactly and stirred for 10 minutes over low heat, I put the mixture in a squeeze bottle and it immediately separated. What did I do wrong?
The lecithin, remember gently stir it and don’t make bubbles. The lecithin in liquid form is sticky you have to make sure it comes off the spoon and into the mixture
Thanks, I used powder not liquid. It’s all I could get at the time. Also I heated my oil in the microwave before adding it to the pot, I thought maybe that was the issue.
Tried this 2x’s and the oil separates once in the mold. 2nd try I stirred my butt off. My consistency seems watery compared to the notes above saying it will be really thick.
When I put into the molds and allow it to sit for 30 minutes, the oil is all sitting on top.
3.3oz starburst jello and (4) 1/4oz packets of unflavored gelatin? Right? All the same other ingredients followed exactly.
I used 1/2c of MCT.
Only difference is I used 2tsp of powdered sunflower lecithin.
