Keep doing what you doing looking great man
are these two branches like this cuz of the topping and are you going to tie them down or let them just grow out @Johnzy81
They are the first 2 that I topped and I also fimmed I, I just took there ties off about 3-4 days ago and they are rising Bach up to the lights.
@Newb1 because I have just transplanted the plant I have nothing tied down right now after her flush tomorrow and there is plenty off flexibility in the stems of the plant I will be tieing down the 4 main outside stems again and that will completely open up the plant for me again.
@Johnzy81 that makes sense i was thinking about topping on my next grow to see the difference between topping and fimming 1st hand but I think I got it now topping stops the growth of the main stem and make the side branches grow up and fimming cause more tops and no growth slow down
I’m doing great and it looks like you are doing the same. The only thing that you should be doing is less ttransplanting .
With all the topping and Fleming hopefully she won’t get stress and turn hermie on you. But right now your looking pretty dam good my friend
I really appreciate that coming from you my friend and gives me great encouragement @garrigan62 Sir, and yes I was thinking about that and it was a part of why I skipped the 2 gallon after I had seen the root ball tho also help me make that decision, but thankfully she has not missed a beat no yellowing and no other signs of stress so I moved along with a recovery period off 5-10 day’s off course in case that any signs would show up she actually still has her feeding leafs, BUT this is were you expert opinion please a couple off posts back I posted some photos off some red colouring on the top and bottom off her top fan leaf stems and all other leafs from 2/3’s down are just mint green on both top and bottom of her leafs @dbrn32 gave me his much appreciated opinion that it might be a sign of stress would you have an opinion on it for me or on off those very impressive lumps off information that you have been posting that is really impressing to everyone that reads them and doing so much for everyone on the forum with all the info @MAXHeadRoom has been great to re-post them I found most of them that way I was delighted and have them bookmarked thank you in advance, Will Sir
Nice ICE @Johnzy81 , The plant looks great and lots of roots . I bet she will really take off in another week or so .
@Newb1 mate that is basically it and then by the LST and tying down it also helps with the vertical height and open up the middle of the plant to the light and help create more vertical branches so I can hopefully fill my 4×4 scrog she is standing at 18" now and I will be setting her scrog tomorrow at 22"-25" and then let her grow right into the screen .
Thanks @Seeddog mate, so far so good it’s when it touches the scrog I’m in new territory then mate but I’m hopeful and I know I have all off you to help me out .
Looking good, man. I only had the same advice as garrigan65, to transplant less. I personally only transplant once from a 1L pot to a 3 gallon smart pot, but partly because I want relatively small plants. But less stress is always good. You might see a lull when you pot up to a much larger pot, while she fills in the roots. But this also gives plenty of time to recover.
Thank you mate, my only reasons for thinking that I would need to transplant like I did was because off all the training I have done to her and I have now sort off committed myself to one more transplanting to her finishing 5gallon fabric smart pot, or with me doing a scrog and it’s a 4×4 screen should I go start from the 3 gallon to a 7 gallon smart pot @elheffe702? And thank you the advice
5 or 7 gallon, it’s really up to you. I’d say a 5 gallon will be fine in a 4x4.
Nice one mate appreciate the advice and is noted
I have 2x 5 gallon in my 3x3. If you were growing outdoors I would say 7 fer sure
Looking good buddy! Looks like everyone’s got you on the right track. I’m watching
Haha good stuff mate, once your there even in the Shadows and let me know it you spot anything buddy
