My first run seed unknown

I am also 1st time grower. I started a seed outside then moved it inside. Started it on a ge plug in veg lamp but soon after got it on the ge flower and bloom. Running a small fan, co2 bag and controlling temps. She was in veg for about 8 weeks but could never tell sex. Put into 8/16 for two weeks just water(sry using fox farm trio). I now have her under a 260 hlg at 24in. In what I call week 4 at 12/12.
1st question, the 2 weeks I went 6/18 do I count that as weeks in flower? Am I really in week 6 of flower?
I can already tell that my stems are not going to support the buds lower than tops. I topped the plant late and I think that is why, or the low level lights. 2nd question, is there anyway I can tie the stems up before they break?
Ty in advance!

If you mean 6/18 do you mean 6 on 18 off? If so then yes you can count it. But ppl count flower times different. Some ppl count the weeks of flower as soon as they switch the light cycle and other count the weeks after the first sign of flowering. I count from when i switch the lights. And by tie stems before they break do you mean low-stress training if so then if you carefully pulled down before breaking it yes you can do that. Do u have a pic

Hi! Yes 8 on and 16 off. I’m hoping I can count as week 4. With the two weeks at 8/16 I guess I’m at week six but buds are not corresponding with that. More of a week 4 look.

As far as low stress training I think I’m past that point. These lower stems off the main are gonna be in trouble in a few weeks if not sooner.

Looking healthy but just being honest, its way under lit and probably wont produce very big or dense nugs. What light are you running? At the end of the day youre getting experience in :+1::v:

I’m using the hlg260 vspec at 24inch. Do you say that because the light is not contained?

Youve used that light the whole time? Cause of the amount of stretch the plant has. You got a big chance of the top buds having a density to it

No just had that light on her for under a week. So what would you do with it?

I was thinking of using a tomato cage. Maybe some twine to pull it in closer looking up to the light. A lot of little bitty bud all over. Is it to late to trim those off? And what about defoliation? Can I trim extra fan leafs to open it?

I put some twine on already.

I’m really not sure what I would do with it I would just let it run and next round you can start fresh from seed with the qb’s. Atleast ull have a harvest from this. She looks healthy so u have that down. Just let her run her course and consider that experience gained. I usually try and keep mine short and trained and leveled out. I also go for indica strains. U could supercrop it if you wanted but could be a little late. Never done it so not sure but thats a possibility

Supercrop that girl down to like right here as a canopy and lower that light a bunch. Maximize what you got. That’s what I would do anyway.

I would recommend 12/12 so that they can get as much light as they can.

Thanks for feedback. Lights at 24in.
Went at her with a chainsaw last night. Added some more twine also, lost a few smaller limbs. Trying to get all my buds faced up and in direct light. Also have more power in light but was gonna wait til week six with final feeding. Finishing off week 4 and 5 with just water.
Here is my hack job. Any more help would be appreciated. Although this one might be best I can do.
Plan on starting 2 next go or maybe 3. Have Girl Scout cookie extreme. Might start two outside. Also but kinda dicey.
