@The_Chef i was thinking of what seeds to get for my next grow. I feel i had a bad start with the amount of space between nodes. What was your best one so far? I read that blue dream has great yields and its fairly easy plant to grow. Do you have a favorite ? Chat later! Enjoy the day brother!

They are beautiful, that’s what they are… but you’ve got it, flower sites.

Yes and I love it. But, with the heat of the summer here I may have to go 20/4 and shut down the grow room from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. I’m struggling to keep the heat in my room under 85.

Thanks on the reply! Keeping under 85 with or without air-conditioner?

Autos are not slaves to the light, like photoperiods – there’s no flipping them (the 12/12 schedule). But, lots of folks do 18/6 on their autos, while many do 20/4 or 24/0. I really feel like it’s grower preference. Let’s let the much smarter growers than me chime in.

Thanks i really don’t know what strain she is i mixed up the seeds lol! I do have her sister here and i do have her labeled so hopefully i’ll know who she is soon by matching her by their similarities. I hope!?

Hahaha. Luck is such a great thing. This grow, #2, has been a real challenge. 12 girls at once is a handful.

That’s funny. I get it. My first two grows were White Widow Auto, all from the same source, so I didn’t have to worry what they were. Good luck.

Do you think that they mature faster on a 24hr regime?

I can’t answer that. I have 12 plants that all hit the soil on the same day – none are maturing at the same rate, and they experience the exact same conditions. As they say, autos are gonna do what autos do – whether it’s 24, 20, or 18 hours of light. I guess I just feel like “more is more betta”.

What I’m learning most is, there are no hard and fast rules. We have to try, watch, learn and pick what works for us.

You will be amazed at what you learn during this grow. Take tons of notes, keep a paper journal or one in the journal section here. Ask questions and make choices. That’s the beauty of it all – there’s room for everyone to grow their own, best way.

Here, you can check out my grow journals here and see the kind of notes I take: https://ilgm-growjournals.com/user/grnygrows/journals

I wouldn’t worry about nodes yet bother. When you start flowering and hammer them with 50 to 60 dli with the scorp. You’ll get your tight nodes :joy::call_me_hand:

I can tell you from what i’ve noticed so far in my plants. When i turn off the light for those 6 hours i usually always see a difference when i turn them on.

Got it!! Thanks! The only reason i was concerned for a moment was when i tried LST on them. I couldnt bend them without most the leaves touching the soil. But i see that i just need to let them do their thing for awhile! Im learning @The_Chef slowly but surely.

It’s insane, collecting your 1st harvest. It’s like freedom. With some in the pantry, it’s easier to chill about the grow.
