Good evening everyone, I have a quick question about LST.
My first couple attempts I have nailed my LST pretty well. My issue I’m having is with these new Photoperiods I’m growing. I have never cut leaves with my autos at least not until much later due to being worried about stressing them etc.
This girl in particular has ridiculously sized leaves already and it’s blocking so much. There really isn’t many ways to tuck it. So my question is, would it be ok to remove 1 or 2 of the big fan leaves to open up the light and allow me to spread a few of the hidden branches under it out into the light?
I appreciate any input and I know photos are more resilient but these are my first. Both of the plants look identical to this girl.

Yes, you can remove some leaves to open it up to more light and air flow

Thank you, I assumed so but wanted to make sure since I’ve only done autos to this point.

I would highly recommend it… they are tough and respond well to trimming, defoliation just remove whatever is blocking the light but remember those limbs will grow past the area’s soon so just go easy…
