Same here! I flower to 50% of the tent space I will be using to account for this.
How things change from one moment to the next. I was so happy yesterday although it’s never perfect but yesterday was different. I was so pleased and excited for whats to come not even two broken branches couldn’t make me sad and boom like night and day! One moment we on top of the world, leaves all perky and then next moment they look like they was in a draught season or something. I just dont get it! Please help! Lucky comment #222
They were suppose to be autos. Afte 7 wks I decided to flip the light schedule to a 12/12 instead of the 24hr that I had them on,because they were getting so big and no signs of preflowers.
@Dave got a minute? Have an issue i need to address and need someone expert opinion. I think i screwed up my plants soil ph
Im no expert by any means but ill try help you the best I can.
How so?
Awesome brother! My leaves are all droopy and i screwed it up because the half dose of silica i used yesterday, i didn’t fix ph afterwards. Im assuming thats is why they are droopy. Could that be it? Things only a newbie does!
They might be over watered… what makes you think its your ph?
Pictures?
Well that could be it too but i waited 4 days before watering and usually i do it every 3 days.
What size of pots are you using?
5 gallon pots. I watered them yesterday a gallon of water til about 20% run off. Im about to wake em up from dark period. I’ll take pics
Just posted some
I dont grow in soil,I use coco. It sounds like you might be over watering.
I feed every day but coco doesnt retain water like soil does.
Pick your pot up if you can and see if they feel light,if they do. Thats when I would water.
Silica wouldnt hurt your plants even at full dose.
@THC73 just what is your current light cycle? Did you change it to 20/4 yet since they are autos and can take what you give them?
You also just watered them…they may have just taken a big drink and are now resting. Once the light comes on they may perk up on their own.
Gotcha thanks! I appreciate it!
35 dli and was thinking of raising up to 50 as the experts recommended i do. Now i just have to hold off on raising it upto 40dli but this drooping is concerning. Im on a 18/6 schedule. But now i see they are perking back up slowly.
Do you follow a vpd chart?
i try to stay in range as much as possible.85 to about 1.10. At least thats what i read somewhere, thats pretty much where you should be. So honestly speaking i dont look at the chart i just go with staying in that range
