My first LST try out!

So if im understanding this correctly, when ever i want?? Im confused, these are autos. Im sorry but i’ve never done this before so its all new to me. Will they wait for me to decide to flip them? I kind of understand not letting them get close to the light so i need to be mindful which makes sense. I suppose not knowing how much taller they can get is based on experience mostly and there isn’t a set rule i suppose.

If they’re autos, give them 18/6 or 20/4 schedule from start to finish. They will get bigger much faster!

And by bigger, I mean bud-wise, not height.
Autos will do what autos will do. All you can do is give them lots of light and food. Crank them to 20/4 unless you have heat issues during the daylight hours. Good rule of thumb is have your dark hours during the peak heat hours. When I do photos, it’s on at 6pm off at noon during veg, and on 9pm off 9am in bud. If I have an auto in there, she is forced to use the photo schedule, not hers.
Hope this helps!

I didn’t know that you could run it all the way through on the same 18/06 or 20/04 or even 24hrs she will still mature at the same rate she would on any schedule. She’s on her own clock regardless of what i do? No exceptions?? Interesting, i didn’t know that. I was under the impression that one would have to help her along the way and some diffences i implement in schedule changes have some effects on yield and also affect the rate it matures

If they are autos, you can do whatever you want.

Autos will start flowering on there own so you got catch pre flower to transition the light scheduke if thats what you desire. If you have photos we flip whenever we want based on height and space. Once they transition they stretch got 2 3 weeks and sometimes they double in height or even more

Have you implemented 20/4 schedule yet or not planning on changing?

When did you drop your seed in soil?i started on the 3rd of May and by the end of the week it broke ground. Im at my 4th week now above ground

No yet. I’m prepping to do so in the next day or two. Just need to get my ducks (girls) in a row.

My 1st grow Feb. 20, 2nd on 3/7 (which is the big grow I’m trying to finish now), and the 3rd grow on May 15 as part of the Full Flower Eclipse Moon Seed Drop https://ilgmforum.com/t/full-flower-eclipse-moon-seed-drop-may-15-join-the-fun/

The four moonies just finished week three today.

Ok so you are at 3 wks. We are a week apart. Your girls look so much taller. What strain are they? Obiously strain has a lot to do with size. Mine are all short and stuby

Yep. I’m behind you a little. This is my first grow that’s not White Widow (which were HGCC genetics). They all grew stout rather than tall. These four are: 3 Mephisto Genetics (the best genetics I’m told) – a Double Smile, El Chemi Kiwi and Fugue State x Forum Stomper X Forum Stomper. The 4th is an ILGM Gelato. It’s the smallest.

I’m over the moon with how they are growing. This is the 1st time my plants are sort of growing upward – not outward and into bushes.

Mr.Gray happy Saturday!! Have a slight issue that i am seeing and wondering what your opinion is: this morning i peeped in on them and seen that they all were sad, thier leaves got all droppy. Way out of the norm. I will attach pic but i don’t think it’ll help much since they are in dark period till 5pm.
What could have caused them to droop so much. I gave them microbes as usual and maybe a bit more water than usual but i usually give them every 3 days i waited till 4 days this time because i have been increasing the amounts of water by 25% approximately every watering. That makes me think that i probably could have waited 5 days, they may have not been as dry as needed. Im not sure. They other change i implemented yesterday was light intensity. I kicked it up 10% so not sure if this too can be a contributing factor in droopiness. Can you take a stab at it please help guys thanks! @The_Chef @Spudgunner @Storm
