My first grow ever, successful germination!

Yea I stunted her pretty good that first week. Planted directly into that pot. Rookie mistakes where I was worried about overwatering and totally overlooked that she needed to be fed right off the bat in coco. So I’d say I’m about 5-7 days behind. She’s gonna be a small plant but I decided that I’m going to see it all the way through and learn from this experience.

i would say
next time, try an go with the solo cup method, let em grow good and establish a good root ball (usually takes at least 2 weeks from the time it sprouts in the cup). than it will be a very easy transition to whatever pot you wanna actually finish her out in.

Hopefully I get another solid 5 days before I start to see any pistils. While researching all I kept seeing was plant autos in there final pot because they don’t like the stress of being transplanted. Next run though I’m definitely starting in solo cups, have a few photo seeds that I plan on starting indoors and moving outside for the summer.

First attempt at LST :raised_hands:

Need one opposite, down low by the soil/stalk pulling the other direction, to keep the main straight vertically.

Got it :+1:. On it right now. Thanks @PhatPat

Id hate to see you accidentally uproot her. Eeeek! I would just die. You got it!!!
@440slum

Yep! Over the next few days, then just pull her down little by little each time till you get her horizontal.
:grin::+1:

@PhatPat :+1: or :-1:

Yep! Looks great. Helps to keep from uprooting her while you pull her down. Fantastic growmie. Gonna pay great dividends.

Really appreciate it!! My first pistil showed up today, hopefully she’ll really start to take off :rocket:

Day 39 from sprout. She seems to be doing well. First pistil showed up January 15th. I guess I’m doing something right :crossed_fingers:

@440slum: hey man , 39 days,
Right ON ! She’s a LOOKN very
Healthy, CONGRATS ᕙ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ᕗ

Thank you :+1:. She may be a little small but I’m proud of the progress over the last week and a half.

Hi guys, newbie question for everyone. It’s been around ten days since the first pistils showed up. I thought by now I would see the flower really start developing. New fan leaves are about to open up, is that the buds developing in the middle? All my bud sites look like this at the moment. Also am I officially in flower? Should I start feeding bloom nutes?

For picture above, good use of dome.
Next only water away from stem, beyond dome protected area.
Make roots seek out the moisture.
Your soil color for seedling should be reversed from above.
Dry soil surrounding stem.
Wet soil in perimeter.
Regardless, raise a glass and congratulate yourself, Germination!
Late to the party,
Keep up the good work.

Thank you, very much appreciated. Looking forward to get better with each grow under my belt :+1:

Yep those hedgehog looking things are the beginning of your buds. Wont be long and they will start really developing. Then it will seem like a long time, like they just stop but dont worry they are packing it in tight and before you know it, they will keep putting on size. Got her looking great growmie. Keep it up. Monitor those ppms and pH. Keep those in range and be smooth sailing…

Awesome :+1:. I’m just going to keep doing what I’m doing. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. I keep thinking there’s more I can do to help her move along. Starting to grow is definitely going to help me become more patient.

Good luck on that.
My hair is gone, already, before I started growing.
