At some stage I’ll be cloning again, I’m also planning on keeping a mother plant or two. I’m limited to my 4 spaces. CFL in the two little tents 40 X 40 X 120cm & 60 X 60 X 140cm . Full spectrum LED in the 100 X 100 X 200cm & 80 X 80 X 180cm.
I fixed an Axial fan to the wall for Senua 60 X 60 X 140cm. I left heaps of ducting so I can fully pull out tent to vacuum and clean behind it. I read Axial can’t use speed controller, it’ll exhaust the heat and rest, I’ve opened bug screen vent. It’s not the best. Maybe one day I’ll have a bigger place and better set up. For now this gal grow is set up across all four tents. I need a 4th hygrometer eventually. I’m thinking about LED in the little tents at some point, especially before summer. It’s officially spring now!
3 weeks since transplant at exactly 1wk old. The White Widow’s have done pretty well considering my errors.
Happy Tuesday lunchtime, I had to water the plants last night due to wilting a tad. They really like 26-27c. Not sure I’ll keep the dome in there much longer as it’s running at 28c
Wednesday (yesterday 9/4/24) I fimmed them both 2:30pm
Watering with nutes 7:29pm. EC 0.8, PPM (500 scale) 380, Water temp 22’c, a CALMAG & SUPER GROW, only a lite solution. Temps 24-27’c lights on. Humidity 89%
Happy sunny spring Sunday from down under southern hemisphere. The fimming triggered good lateral growth. I’m soo looking forward to clones
Things are looking fantastic @spots
Sorry i have been out of commission with my back ive been absolutely miserable i had to force myself to take care of my girls but i feeling better and will be around more
Sending healing vibes from down under southern hemi. Sorry you’ve been suffering @Countryboyjvd1971 , also you’re under no obligation to meet my online needs, it’s really cool we’ve taken up growing again, opposite sides of the world and journeying along tandem in our med hobbies. Kinda cool
Update, my seed experiment failed dismally. None of them sprouted. I would’ve tried more but it’s time to clone. Took some last night, using Yates Clonex Gel. I formally used aloe from a plant in my garden, but decided to finally try a cloning product. Hopefully my old touch with beautiful clones comes back. I’m excited to try a rooting and then flip to see sex
It’s been a busy few days. Clones are are still alive. I learnt that fimming causes strength in lower knuckles I’ve never seen before. Would male plants respond similarly I wonder, I guess I’ll find out eventually. Here are some pics I took recently, not today. The laying down clone did get back up. I’ve only taken these clones to root then flip to reveal for fun and confirmation. Also to prove to myself I can still clone
I think I have a nute ph problem.
Over done calmag are my thoughts. Only one is looking burnt. They’ve not had a feed in over a week, I think, I lost track and didn’t record damnit. It’s affecting more than the top, it’s new growth, maybe deficiencies due to calmag overload? Thoughts @Countryboyjvd1971 would be so appreciated.
This morning I have done, a small feed, 250ml each with I forget and I didn’t record, I think around 400ppm (700scale) EC 0.8, ph 6.3. Collection of each run off. Nute burnt worst readings; ppm 520, EC 0.8, ph6.4. The healthiest ppm 540, EC 0.8, ph 6.6 it didn’t settle on 6.6 did kinda go down 6.5 on a swirl of pen.
So they’re at diff ph levels and it seems to like 6.5-6 best
My sister’s boyfriend offered to loan me an led light indefinitely. He’s taking a break. It’s multicolour gives off purple, what kinda of light have I got? Veg? Flower? Huh?
According to my son I’m wrong about what he gave me. It’s white rhino not widow lol
Since roots appeared, outside the happiest peat pod, I transplanted into 1gal, a straight into the 60x60x140 Senua tent, with Blurple light, I’d warmed up since the afternoon.
The white rhino seeds are 7weeks since sprouting and have turned back to the light under trellis.
The new cultiv8 hygrometer thermometer has been reading humidity HH, my other humidity monitor says 99%
