10 Bag seeds from my dear sister. I soaked overnight in ph’d water. Planted the ones that sank.

So it looks like I was under-watering, when I’d thought over.

Day 7! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Happy White Widows

Some buds I grew a few years ago. I’m terrible that I never updated y’all!

Back to current grow, after bombing out a few years ago, I’m back and had my first trouble shoot. I overloaded my tray with little peat cups, and had them touching, caused some mould to begin on the outside of one of my seedlings. I took a gamble and prepared soil, transplanted them this evening. I was happy to find roots all the way to the edge of cup, about to start growing into it. I took crappy pics, through the tent window, because I didn’t want to disturb the house late, light sleepers.

I never grew another as beautiful as her :star_struck:

Isn’t it just fascinating, genetics and environment are key right?!
I’m indoor growing at the end of winter.

I’m hoping that transplanting to 5gal, in peat based mix, wasn’t too lazy. I have 1 & 2gals. I’m unfortunately time poor. I hope I don’t regret it, you’re planning on 1 or 2gal before 5?

I’m trying not to overwater, seems I have nute burnt seedlings from going to large 5gal too quick. Or ph problem  I forgot it’s not technically soil and used 6.5, have corrected to 6.3 so we’ll see how they handle

I will put them in one gal
Pots in a peat mix and let them fill it out before transplanting into 5 gal finishing pots i never use bigger then 5 gal i found if you water and feed as needed 5 is plenty for a indoor grow anything over is a waste of dirt imo

I fully agree, I’ve never gone bigger than 5gal, got plenty of bountiful harvests and supplied myself easily for years. It was so good not needing to purchase my medication. I got into using Nova Flex. My sister got married and I gifted her 2ounces. I’m beginning to understand how things went wrong, it was more than just taking in clones with bugs. It was unfortunate that I moved them in with my strains, before quarantine was over, due to a tent exhaust fan breaking down. I lost all my original strains that I loved. I’m kicking myself for forgetting basics, a decent ph pen is ESSENTIAL, understanding your grow medium and plant nutrient needs. Somewhere along the lines I think I got complacent and stupid. Back with a vengeance and like I’m a newbie again.
