Seems my Bruce Banner some plants are reverting to males or maybe Herms… is this possioble, and is it useable?
Bryan
I’m kinda new here but I don’t see male parts. Let’s ask someone smarter! @oldmarine @MeEasy
Im new but that seems very similar to the bracts i have on the lower part of my females. It just looks engorged, bjt that just might be how zoomed in the pic is…but from my novice experience that is still a female part.
It looks like thats a cut off branch…have you try cutting it open away from your plants?
there’s a seed or pollen pouch right at the base of the bottom leaf sack the left of the stem…
Thanks for the tag @Flitme hi @Bryan1209 that looks to me like a swollen calyx it’s where a seed would be if the plant was pollinated… keep an eye on it just incase I’m wrong but I’m 99% sure that’s what it is, you can always pick it off and look inside
No, that’s a calyx.

It could hold a seed if pollinated. The plant will start producing them in clusters which will eventually become the buds we harvest.
Is there a starter seed in all calyxes? I cut one off and opened it up and there was a tiny white seed looking thing in there, but theres no evidence of my plant being pollinated otherwise, and i dont even think its possibke they could be
Nice pictorial! Like stated; just keep an eye on it but plant isn’t showing male signs (yet).
Probably the bract. I wouldn’t sweat it…
As @oldmarine said, it’s the internals of the bract. Technically the little white round bit is the ovule (see @MeEasy ’s diagram) and that’s where the pistils will eventually pop out of. I’ve pulled apart a bazillion bracts looking for seeds because I had a male in my tent for 2.5 seconds.
Thanks. I fall in love with this plant more every day…its just so cool lol.
I dont think its a hermi or male i believe its just part of the flower
All I see is female parts.
