Yea, and it was uphill walking BOTH ways! LOL Also remember the mimeograph paper when the teachers passed out the tests. everyone would sniff them !

That’s an awesome story @Uhawl I missed a lot of concerts over the years.
Worst? KC and the Sunshine band. Lol but it was free at my army duty station in Germany in 1983.
Bestest? Willie Nelson at the Concerts on the Commons in downtown Boston of all places! It was 1987 or so.wow he was unbelievable. The crowd was very into the concerts and I left on quite a high!

My favorite was AC/DC the Back in Black tour. I’ve saw the several times, but that tour was my favorite because they were coming back after Bon’s passing on. This was when you could pass a joint up and down the rows of seats and it was coming from every direction. Well, I was blistered and they started playing Hells Bells, I had to walk to the nearest door and get some fresh air and get my mind straight again. Hank Junior was the worst, he was so messed up that he didn’t know what song he was singing.
@EarlyPearl I saw Back in Black in Philadelphia in 1980’s.
I think one of the best first concerts I went to was Neil Young ! Went with this hippie chick that I met and went on a three day party after that. Actually partied until the next weekend with work in the middle. She worked at the same place I did and was always changing jobs when the weather changed. She would head south in the fall and north in the spring. Saw her in Face book yesterday and contacted her. We talked on the phone for hours. Ahhh, the early 70’s !
