Okay kiddos, this is a great question. What was your first concert. K C and the Sunshine band dosnt count. Tag someone. @Covertgrower, @raustin, @highcountrygal.
Sonny and Cher at the Community Concourse San Diego 1965!
Youâre funny. My first concert was taking my daughter to see NSYNC when she was in middle school (which I suppose is right up there with KC and the Sunshine band). But the first concert I went to for me was Toby Kieth with Kip Moore opening. Since then Iâm a country concert junky. @Willd @WillyJ @SmoknGranny @Smokin_ernie @Countryboyjvd1971 @Screwauger
Good lord!
Donât forget to tag some folks.
@Happy_Pappy I didnât go to a concert until I was 20 something. I only went because of a girl. I typically avoid crowds at all costs. (Does that make me paranoid or a homebody?) @dbrn32 @GreenThunder @BlackShirt
I love country. Saw Hank Williams jr. 3 times.
In our hip huggers, poor boy top tucked in with a big white belt and donât forget the GoGo boots!
Iâd wish I could hear that story.
So, share your pain. Who was it? Jonas Brothers?
Who the heck is that?
Oh we were so excited! My dad let me drive his Oldsmobile, we thought we were so cool I went with my friend Gayle. I just saw her at my 50 reunion and we laughed so hard!
Haha⌠hardly, @Happy_Pappy it was a male country singer. I want to say Luke Bryan when he was starting out. He was at the county fair.
Never heard of him. Geez friend, you shouldâve hung with me.
I probably would have had a better time. Lol. @Happy_Pappy
Beings this is fun, this was mine. Golden Earring, Black Oak Arkansas and Theodore Nugent. 1978. AKA Ted.
This is so much fun!
First ârealâ show I saw was Suicidal Tendencies, Candlebox (they replaced Danzig when Glenn Danzig wasnât wellâŚnever understood the thinking behind that swapâŚthey got booed off the stage after two songs), and Metallica, 1992. I saw Kansas when I was very young, but that doesnât really count.
You think? Iâve seen some good ones. I have a tee that days, "I may be old, but Iâve seen the best bands. "
Neither. Iâm more this way the older I get.
