Takes me back to the 70’s.
Exactly what KIng harvest - dancing in the moonlight, does for me
Or even Kodachrome- Paul Simon
The Jimi Hendrix Experience - you can say that again.
The most, shall I say, mesmerizing concert I ever went to.
Deep Purple smoke on the water. Uriah Heep I am Great music just a singer in a rock and roll band.
The song I (and a lot of guitar players) learned to play first. It’s fun and easy to play. I love that song.
Arlo Guthrie “comming into Los Angeles”
I think it was 2004, my brother, mom and his friend saw them with Chicago. First and only time my mom didn’t give a sxxx I was smokin weed. Great show.
zappa
Seen him 14 times including 5 nights in a row at the Palladium in NY
I was pretty young when Frank was doing his thing, but I had an older cuz who turned us on to all the freaky shit!
At 11 that was about the funniest thing I’d ever heard!
I appreciated his approach to music and creativity though.
I’m surprised he’s not sampled more often than he is now and days.
Some of his stuff is still pretty far out there!
That’s why I think it’s great stoner music not that all the others didn’t have great selections also as I get older Steely Dan is a band I love
I like all kinds of music as long as it’s good! I’m pretty eclectic in my tastes.
I was born in '68, my oldest brother was 19 in '68, And then there’s 2 others kind of evenly spaced and all have different taste in music, so I was exposed to a lot.
Plus a sis who’s 2 years older so I know every Tiger Beat boy band from the 70’s! LOL!
If I think long and hard enough I can probably remember where the 8 track chunks over in Paradise By The Dashboard Lights or Ricki Don’t Lose that Number! And maybe a couple of Tony Orlando songs!
I like to think the best stuff stuck!
New school…
