What does it actually mean when a plant has mutations I have a batch of of dark Devils that have a lot of mutations it’s pretty cool but what does it really mean

It means the plant has likely been back-bred to fix a trait and reinforced some recessive genes. Thus the mutations. You can also get duplicate chromosomes, doubling or quadrupling (diploid and haploid IIRC).
