Multi-strain outdoor/greenhouse 2025

Its grow time again. I dropped some seeds in water yesterday. Put them into solo cups today. 16 hrs soak, a couple cracked open, but everybody sank to the bottom at least. Im using pro-mix soil and a heat mat. I use a cotton shirt and tote to buffer the heat. Stays about 85 inside those totes.

Got some great strains this year. Im excited about them anyway.
Don carlos- hsc
Royal highness- hsc
Gsce- ilgm

I have three more to add in a few more weeks. Trying to keep em on the short side.
I got me a couple tools to help me plant seeds this year. They helped me alot.

Looks like a nice lineup. @W.B.elpaso
I tore down what was left of my greenhouse and soaked the ground with water from the pond. Then pulled all the weeds and grass. Then flooded the whole grow area for a couple of hours. Tomorrow I’m digging and prepping my holes.

Yeah it was a lot work I was amazed at how overgrown it got in such a short time. These green ivy looking weeds grow a tap root that’s nearly impossible to pull out. Each bunch is the size of a dinner plate and has a single tap root thats 18"+ deep that doesn’t break. If you cut the tap root the plant grows back, now with an even bigger, deeper tap root. You have to dig them up. They are by far the worst weed in my yard. They only grow where the soil has been cleared but once they get going they outgrow and smother all the other ground foliage. I fight with them every year all year.

I feel you on the Mallow. I fight Spurge with similar growth pattern. The lawnmower has created a monster. Even got me thinking about using pre-emergence

If I plant clover as a cover crop around my plants right after I pull all the Mallow it doesn’t grow back there until early spring. I dug the whole area and ammended my soil in December and in march I dug up all the cannabis carcasses and added azomite and rock phosphate and langbeinite. 2 months later it was covered in mallow and crabgrass, another one of my invasive plants that can cover an area real quick. It can be even harder to get rid of. However its easier to deal with and doesn’t choke out other plants as quickly. Specially if they have deep roots. I use inoculated white clover and red clover and buckwheat to keep that shit at bay. I tried using mint one year and the next spring it had spread all over inside my greenhouse. It took a couple of years to finally get rid of it.

Red runtz first to the party. The skywalker og auto came up, but i think i decapitated it trying to get its helmet head off. It may still go, we will see.

I like my tote dome ive created. Seems to work good. Keeps the top of the pots from drying out so fast. I have air circulation for my heater.
